Who would you like to see gender swapped?

There's a poll right now talking about whether or not Link should be female in the next Zelda game. This got me to thinking: If you could choose a character to be gender-swapped, from any game you like, who would it be? (Please stay mature with your responses. This isn't 4chan, we have standards.)

No one honestly . BUT if i HAD to choose . Lightning from Final fantasy 13 . For some reason i think she would be cooler as a dude . Oh and Hope for the lols , because quite frankly , he's half way there .

Does it really matter? Story, character and character development are the important things when it comes to characters in my opinion, all those things can be achieved regardless of what gender the charter.

I don't play the zelda games but it seems pretty pointless and like it will annoy more people that it will please. If I had a character I enjoyed and/or I could relate to I'd be pretty hacked off if they changed their gender for the next game, as who ever they were in the previous titles changing that will integrally change them at least to some degree? for better or worse.

If I had to choose, it would be tomb raider so I could have at least some justification for wearing insanely small shorts, to the offense of all involved.

I was pretty thrilled when they let you pick your gender in Persona 3. If they did that in Persona 4, that would be great too.

I think Link is the best candidate right now. Other than Link though I've got nothing...maybe make that Super Mario Sis. thing a real thing and change the royalty to Prince Peach and Daisy. I don't know if this counts but I would like to see Amaterasu as a cat.

As others have mentioned, I'd be quite interested to see a COD game with a female protagonist, although it'd probably not be done very well.

I wouldn't mind a Deus Ex game with a female lead (augmented boobs .. hurr hurr .. behave people). Adam Jenson having a full augmented gender swap would be amusing.

OT: To be honest, I'd rather have more games that allow you to pick the gender of the main character, but still have a significant narrative, a bit like how Persona 3 Portable works.

I would've loved to be able to choose a gender in DXHR. Deus Ex: Invisible War has that option. The female Alex D has a much better voice actor, so except for that one playthrough I always choose female when I play that game.
