Yeah it must have to do with them not wanting to adapt the Battle.net service to the old games. So they put them on GOG instead.

I doubt you'll see a Starcraft though because that has been remastered on B-Net.

It seems like they are opening up their old games (without remaster potential or plans) to GOG. Which is fine. I just don't think it'll end up being as big of a deal as people think. Great for those who wanna play the old games again.
They could always give us the original older version Starcraft 1.
Didn't Blizzard literally already give that away for free before the remaster launched? Why put it on gog for people to buy you can get it for free form Blizzard directly?
Bethesda gave GOG Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall for GOG to give away for free even though they offer both games for Free on thier own website.

Although to get Daggerfall and Arena on GOG, you have to buy a Bethesda game first.

So what you're saying is they aren't actually free and it's a worse deal when getting them on Bethesda's website?

Well, maybe a worse deal, I wouldn't trust Bethesda's website to not leak my private info to every user so I guess the GOG versions have that going for them.

Sweet! Can't wait for Diablo II, you know, the good one...
As in, on GOG? I wouldn't count on it. It's still for sale from Blizzard directly. Chances are it'll get a remake ala StarCraft and Warcraft III though.

Here's the thing. From Bethesda's site. You have to set up a DOSBox and code for the game to launch.

Getting the GOG version, all you have to do is install the game and launch the executable.
