Huh? Oh that thing. I haven't even watched the first season. I'm 4-5 episodes in, and the thing just doesn't seem to get moving. So not at the moment.

But you did remind me that Better Call Saul season 2 comes out tomorrow. That I'm certainly excited about.

H yeah!

I loved the first season (even if it doesn't get real good until a few episodes....basically once Kingpin shows up) and I am hoping that they can take the moral ambiguity of Kingpin and continue with it. I love me some Punisher so I am very curious to see what they do with him considering what they did with Kingpin.

And that's literally all I know about the new season as I have avoided all trailers or information about Daredevil Season 2. I'm almost done with Jessica Jones so the timing won't be quite perfect but I figure I can start Daredevil as soon as it comes out rather than waiting a few months like I did.

I'm looking forward to Jon Bernthal's performance. He was the only thing that kept me engaged through S1+2 of Walking Dead, and does uncorked rage very well. I'm not looking forward to seeing Daredevil's corny red costume, or more of Henson's intolerable Foggy Nelson. I also tend to enjoy origin stories far more than what follows, so I highly anticipate finding the season a letdown unless Bernthal completely runs away with it. I expect similar issues from S2 of Jessica Jones, as they'd have a nigh impossible time finding an antagonist as interesting or as thematically potent as the Purple Man.

There's not a lot I'm super EXCITED about, TV wise. Mr. Robot season 2, definitely. That's about it.

I don't know about excited, I loved season 1, maybe my inner fanboy is just lying dormant and will come out after I watch the first episode.
And I was pretty hyped to hear Punisher's gonna be in it. I don't know a ton about him, but honestly even just a passing knowledge of the character already makes him super cool.

The trailer definitely peaked my interest. The dialogue that was added was really good.

You only take half-measures

and

You are one bad day away from being me

Sounds like he will be a good Punisher.

I am not too familiar with Elektra though, so I don't know what to expect, aside from her looking attractive. I think they could have just gone with Punisher as an anti-hero/moral foil and it would have been fine.

I'm exited, I've always thought the Punisher was a dick and a piece of shit, so seeing him as the main antagonist is very interesting to me, specially considering how well Season 1 of Daredevil and Jessica Jones handled their villains, so I'm expecting greatness from this, since I also think it was damned good casting, I don't know if Jon Bernthal will be as good as D'Onofrio and Tennant, but I do know he was the only reason I watched 2 seasons of Walking Dead, and Season 2 was fucking shit.

I think there's a reason we haven't heard anything about Jessica Jones season 2 yet. If it happens let's hope they don't just phone it in. Would be remarkably easy to shoot for mediocre :/

Eh, I personally found the whole Purple Man plot annoying. They relied on the whole "haha! I've tossed a few civilians into danger to slow down Jessica so I can escape! Aren't I evil!" trope waaaay too often for my tastes. It lost all tension due to how often they let her almost catch him, only to be delayed by saving civilians. They should've left him out of the show directly for a lot longer, and had more scenes where people like little children would walk up to her and say creepy ass shit. It would've helped to maintain the menace of him a lot more. Also, a lot of other things about that show annoyed me, and kept me from finding as anything more than just "eh, it was ok".

OT: I wouldn't say I'm super excited for season 2, but I am looking forward to it. I agree with Guppy that his performance in Walking Dead was great, and I really empathized with his character, and his fall from grace. I think he will be a very good Punisher. I'm not chomping at the bit, or counting down the minutes to watch Season 2, but it's definitely on my radar for when it comes out.

Yes I am, though not because of the Punisher. From the trailer, Electra looks like the one who'll get to camp things up and add a bit of lightness, which is a thing the previous season was dangerously short on.

I am worried how daft DD's suit looks though (fat, clumsy and cross-eyed) compared to the Dread Pirate Robert's costume he was wearing in the first season.

I am!

I'm not making the same mistake by not watching it on aired dates til months later (I didn't think it was good and only heard it was good after season 1 has ended). Ok yes I won't be able to semi binge watched it like last time but whatever.

What do you mean air dates, Netflix just realeses the whole season.
