Bowser.

for a giants fire-breathing turtle, he seems to be the most human of all the Mario characters, or even Nintendo characters in general.

Even though there's not much too him, I'm obliged by childhood nostalgia to go with Ganondorf from the Legend of Zelda series.

I'll also toss a special mention out to Kefka from Final Fantasy 6 (the best Final Fantasy title ever) because he wasn't a god, or a demon, or a super soldier with mommy issues, he was just an awful awful human being. And by god, was he awesome.

The Abomination from The Incredible Hulk comic books and film. He's like Hulk only twice as big, Russian (in the comic books) and maintains his mentality. He's THE legend

Andrew Ryan. He's smart, coy, and monstrous. Also very polite. At least when I killed him, we had a nice gentlemen's game of gold beforehand.

Silent Hill. The town is a character in itself, pretty much. An extremely evil character, I should add.

GLaDOS. Unbelievable! You [SUBJECT NAME HERE] must be the pride of [SUBJECT HOMETOWN HERE].

This... This is the best thing ever.

I loved Andrew Ryan because he was both a villain and a tragic hero. And Darth Malak from KotOR was a pimp plain and simple. I like that his story turns a little sadder towards the end, too. Also GLaDOS because... GLaDOS.

Darth Vader.

One of the most iconic villains of all time. Plus he can choke people with his mind.
The only thing that could make him more awesome would be a British gangster's attitude and accent.

Kefka: Who destroyed the planet and became a God at the half-way point of his game. I'm not sure of anyone else whose done that...Ganon took over Hyrule in Ocarina of Time but he didn't become God or destroy the planet

Don't you mean anti-hero/tradgedy story? Sorry, had to do that. Yeah, Darth kicks ass!

I'm going to go with Frieza, who else would blow up a planet to kill someone while they're still on it!

Oh yes to this. Although I found the movie fantastic because you knew what he was doing was wrong but he was doing it because people had done wrong to him. So even though he is the bad guy I ended up rooting for him and hateing him at the same time. Fantastic contrast.

My villain would have to be Bullseye from the Marvel universe. He's funny yet twisted at the same time combined with some sweet skills in the art of killing. What's not to like?

I personally like the more complex versions of Magneto, especially from the first X-men film.

If the radition he used didn't kill anyone exposed to it, he could be considered the hero.

Hitler. Yea, I said it. The man had great taste in haircuts/facial hair.

EDIT- does posting a picture of Hitler violate any forum rules?

The Elder God from Legacy of Kain.

The Wanderer from Shadow of the Colossus.

Probably more antagonist than villain, but Selvaria Bles and Maximillian from Valkyria Profile.
