Of course not your highness. That would be the very pinnacle of gauche. Any fool can see that the style is cell shading, with 2 'l's.Chemical Alia said:Haha, maybe. Though I was equally friendless before that title appeared next to my name, I might actually somehow be more alone now that that red text appeared over my username.Bertylicious said:You're a professional in the games industry at Gearbox, a prestigious organisation, who is directly involved in games development. That's pretty intimidating.Chemical Alia said:The Escapist is one of the few sites I've been a member of for a decent amount of time, and have made absolutely no friends or even had any conversations with other members on. I'm not really sure why that is, but I will say that this forum has never really struck me as an especially friendly place. My posting habits and the fact that I'm almost twice of many of the members here probably contribute to that, too.
I mean, what if I make a crack about tightening up the graphics on level 3 and you were to say "My GOD Berty, that is well bang out of order! Do you know how hard I work? Do you know how much blood, sweat and tears I have poured into my work to allow jack-offs like you to moonshot farm The Warrior for Conference Calls? Well FUCK you Berty and the scabby horse you rode in on! I am DONE with the whole thing! You can kiss Borderlands 3 goodbye!"
And I'll be all "oh God, oh God, oh God..." and flapping my arms up and down and spinning in a little circle and then the mods will ban me for being terrible.
Just don't call it "cel shading", and we're good. c:
Joking aside, quizzically, I come on The Escapist, on the internet generally, to engage in banter and to "crack wise" as the Americans might say. The rules against low content posts and offending people can be somewhat inhibiting. I mean to say; I'm English for God's sake. For me learning how to talk to people without intentionally offending them is like having to learn German.
I guess the rules do a good job of stopping the place descending into a toilet of hatred, bullying and cruelty, though where would we be without toilets?
