So, whenever I see threads along the lines of "who's your favorite Pokemon?", I notice a trend: People tend to pick either final-stage Pokemon, or first-stage Pokemon.
But what about the middle child? This thread is for them. No Charmanders or Charizards here, this thread is for the Charmeleons, the Wartortles, and the Ivysaurs.
Also, while I'm not going to specifically deny them, I'm talking less about retconned second-stage Pokemon. What I mean is, Pokemon that were originally two-stage Pokemon, that acquired a final evolution in later generations, like Magmar and Dusclops (or ones that obtained a pre-evolution, like Clefairy). You can list them... but I'm not really talking about those guys. They had their time as fully evolved Pokemon. This thread is more about the overlooked second-stage Pokemon.
Personally, I like Haunter. I'm more of a fan of him than Gengar, personally.
