PBG, Peanut Butter Gamer [http://www.youtube.com/user/PeanutButterGamer], he's a game reviewer(kind of...) and is very funny and has a silly, kind of childish, charm to him. He always makes me laugh, and his Yoshi's Story video is amazingly happy, especially to me, since I played a lot of Yoshi's Story when I was a kid.

And Game Grumps [http://www.youtube.com/user/GameGrumps], since they have daily entertainment, and are 99% of the time funny.

(Also JonTron [http://www.youtube.com/user/JonTronShow] is pretty funny by himself too)

I would go with Rooster Teeth, but that feels like cheating.

Instead, I have to pick Birgirpall aka Burger Paul aka Bigigrgigrgigrgigrgigrgigrgir Paul

I adore the Battlefield 3 multiplayer and he just makes such a mockery of it, in an incredibly stylish way.

The man is an Icelandic Superman.

Close runners up are Criken and Chinchilla Dave.

.

For non-gaming, Dan Brown aka Pogobat. No question.

He has fascinating ideas and videos and interacts with his audience in such a great way.

I WOULD have gone with Charlie McDonald, but he doesn't put out videos often enough for that.

I don't really subscribe to any gaming channels on youtube. (shock! horror!) That said, I've enjoyed what I've seen of Total Biscuit.
My favourite youtuber is probably shaftninja, aka Travis Orbin, aka the best drummer you will ever see on youtube. Behold his incredible ambidextrous ways:

It's varied over time and there aren't any I truly love or watch religiously, but my current favourite is probably theneedledrop. I enjoy watching his music reviews and I like the wide span of music he covers.
That's good to see him getting a mention. I don't watch him relgiously, but what I've seen has been genuinely intelligent and insightful. If you're interested in metal reviews, check out coverkillernation.

I'm gonna throw out a major props to Purpleeyeswtf.
The strange mind behind my two favourite shows on youtube; Code MENT and None Piece.
Backup props go to the team who do Pokemon 'Bridged (from the 1kidsentertainment channel) and Faulerro for Nullmetal Alchemist.

I know TeamFourStar and LittleKurriboh are great too, but frankly they have enough exposure.

In terms of non-abridged channels, I gotta say I rather like Angry Joe. The guy's got a head on his shoulders and is frankly one of the better game reviewers I've come across. He's fair and balanced. Doesn't let one downside taint an entire review and doesn't let one positive/hype/nostalgia trip pump up an otherwise mediocre game.

For most gaming stuff: Total Biscuit. I kind of like Dodger as well, her enthusiasm is cheering. I should really check out Jesse Cox.

For Starcraft 2: HDStarcraft or Husky. I like TB as well, not for the quality of the matches but for his wry, amusing commentary on his own foibles.

For XCOM: Beaglerush is great, but I dearly, dearly loved the (very brief) OXM Squad series, which were absolutely hilarious.

HowToBasic is currently my favorite. My god, if you have yet to see his videos you have yet to know the definition of funny.

Also, seeing RWJ as a favorite Youtuber makes me laugh. Because he isn't funny.

It's a toss up between Game Grumps and SSOHPKC. I love Seamus, and when he plays games I don't want to watch, they still work as background noise, plus he uploads ALOT.

Throw another vote in the box for Nerd³. The only Youtuber who can consistently make me actually laugh out loud.

My favorite right now probably is probably YogscastLalna. He has a much more relaxed commentary then several of the other Yogscast members, and doesn't constantly make my ears go deaf, unlike Simon. Some of my other favorites would have to be Niichts (Star), since I'm a big TF2 person, TheRunawayGuys (Love watching ProtonJonSA and Chuggaaconroy), and Birgirpall, simply because he's Birgirpall.

That's a tough one for me. If I had to narrow it down to my top five, it would be (in no particular order):

1.) TeamFourStar
2.) CardGamesFTW
3.)MatthewPatrick13
4.) chuggaaconroy
5.) gigguk
