If I had to pick....Sheogorath, without a doubt.

He is the only character that I have a complete man-crush for. XD

Decent female videogame characters are hard to come by, so I'll just go with

Dog.
He's got huge muscles, abs of steel, an adorable face, and a charming personality. Who can avoid falling in love with this guy?

Samus Aran, the way she movew about tactically and blasts her opponents away as well as saving entire worlds and slaying Ridley and his pirate goons over and over again. Some say actions speak louder than words and when it comes to Samus it couldn't be more true, she would have to be my one. (I'm ignoring Other M.)

Saria from OoT was my very first boyhood crush. My crush persisted into adulthood until I played the game again after several years and realized that she stays a little girl forever (something I had somehow never realized as a child because for some reason I thought she was actually a native Hylian like Link, which I rationalized as being the reason she was so nice to Link HHHHNNNNNGGGGGG). Still, there will always be sexy cosplays of everything. Lucky me! =D

People really need to get out more, it seems.
Hey now, we most certainly have attractions to real people.
But you gotta admit, when a characters design and personality is so well thought out that you might like the person in real life?(and not a damn he/she is hot bang to infinity kind of like.) well you know...
They are secret crushes after all.

It's not like I have pictures of them hanging all over the wall or anything.

I like sexy, crazy, kinky redheads with a fetish for tech.

Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3.

She rides a motorcycle, she's a red-head, she's intelligent, and she's a skilled fencer. I don't think any further explanation is needed.

Has anyone said Bayonetta yet? Because Bayonetta.

I'd let her do things to my pelvic region that would disable me for life.

How adorable!

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people go the 'player' route in Persona 4 and just smooth-talk all the ladies, but I couldn't do that to Chie. D:

Though it makes me more conflicted about what I want to do on future play-throughs of the game...

And a second mention for Tali.
Yeah, a part of me has to say Naoto. She is smart, cute in that socially awkward way and a bit interesting to be around in terms of social quirks. so there's my pick.

King, from the King of Fighters (most of them) and Art of Fighting 1 & 2 (Yes! Hit 'em with that sharp elbow. Smash those girly girls into the pavement! Send that giant of a man flying with your powerful kick!)
Merrill, from Dragon Age 2 (Crazy women with superpowers... Right?)
Neeshka, from Neverwinter Nights 2 (Ach, that voice, and the greed, and the various funny antics, pranks and so on. Cute!)
Qara, from Neverwinter Nights 2 (What did I say about crazy women with too much power?)
Jaesa (dark) from The Old Republic (The joy with which she experiences every sensation and new thing is contagious!)
Jack, From Mass Effect 2 & 3 (So angry that she borders on self-parody, but I like it. I like it a lot.)
Sigrun, from Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening (A fantasy dwarf with doubts... in the interest of not spoiling too much, I'll just say that I find her very interesting. Also, hot dwarf booty is always a winner!)
Viconia, from Baldur's Gate 2 (and 1, but not really. My first proper VG crush - You never forget your first!)
Catherine the Great, from Civilization V (I know this is a historical figure, but it's based on her game representation only!)
Harle, from Chrono Cross (Obsessive, possessive, selfish... but is it all an act? Is some of it? A french accent! A secret! A mysterious Pepe le Pew with the player in the role of the cat!)
Ayla, from Chrono Trigger (This one's rather simple. A strong woman in a fur bikini.)
Lucca, from Chrono Trigger (A smart woman in geek glasses, literal girl next door (or, you know, a couple doors over) that develops feelings for machinery.)

Korgan, from Baldur's Gate 2
Oghren, from Dragon Age: Origins
It looks like the only men I like are deranged/antisocial/violent/nasty fantasy dwarfs, but this is just a coincidence! I think... Either way, I can't live without them when I play their games: Korgan will find his way even into a paladin playthrough of BG2, because he's just so precious...

This'll probably sound weird, but Jack/Subject Zero in Mass Effect. She has the most beautiful face of any woman in that entire series, covers her whole body in tattoos, and reminds me far too much of a woman I once knew for me to just leave her alone. Perhaps the most interesting interaction in that series is the way my personal infatuation with Jack interferes with my character's loyalty to Liara. Especially in ME3, I had to keep reminding myself that I was trying to stay true to her, but Jack kept pulling me back. (To the point where I made out in the shuttle with her, with Liara right next to us!) I can't think of any character (romanceable or otherwise) in a video game that I've cared for more, even as thin on the ground as the characterization was in that series.

Well Kanji Tatsumi of course. Also, tangentially, although not a video game character per se, Troy Baker (the VA for characters such as Kanji Tatsumi, Joel, and Booker DeWitt) is adorable.

Hm... Yuna, Garnet, and Tifa from various FF games, Morrigan from DA: Origins, Yukari, Mitsuru, and Aigis all from Persona 3... Hm, those are just about all I can think of.

Alia from the Mega Man X series. I imagine she'd make an excellent partner, and if not, you could always program her to be.

Adult Rydia from FFIV. She epitomizes what a strong woman should be.

And, call me creepy, but The Hooker from Hotline Miami. If she can calm and nurture the violent maniac you play as, she seems like she could be quite a capable girlfriend, if not a total freak.

Tali's really it. I notice a lot of people here like the characters with tech fetishes, and I guess I do too. Foreign, amazing voice, a sense of mystery, capable.

And I like how she has a pet energy ball.

(Garrus you mother fucka I'll shank ya if you try anything)

I've liked Garrus Vakarian since mid-way through my first ME1 play through many year ago. Him becoming a romance option in ME2 just cemented the feeling.

Monkey from Enslaved. Just too bad the game sold so badly :(
Baird from Gears of War
Kanji from Persona 4
