Eh it depends where you are, I live in a bogan neighbourhood. 14 yr olds are cocky, immature and basically treat you as if you were their equal which really pisses me off. Younger they get the worse they are. There is a primary school right next to the high school and if you walk by it when there is kids out you are basically called everything under the sun and the worst part is there is nothing anyone except their parents can do who are too busy drinking/making babies/neglecting them to show them the concept of respect. I'm sure there is plenty of wonderful 4+ yr olds out there but local experience has taught me to despise them. Great thing about the internet is you can't judge someone on face value cause you can't see them.

I've only met a small fraction of 14 year olds that didn't deserve to be punched in the face. If I could travel through the space-time continuum, I would punch the 14-year old version of myself without thinking, and then inform me of how the future would play out, what stocks to buy, and give myself a high-5.
With the exception of 1, every person under 17 on my Xbox Live Friends list I know in real life. That 1 person is 17 in a month anyway and I've been talking to for a year, is also a friend of the people I usually talk with on Live.
How many do I think there are? Obviously there are a lot, because they are on every fucking game and seem to exist for the sole purpose of pissing me the fuck off.

14 years olds a strange time for everyone,a bunch of the protecters say,I was 14 about 2 short years ago,and remember having a medium voice,now I sound like beethovens vocal coords got crashed into a steel gate. I never hated online but I was always mistreated,eventually I made them the criers when I started kicking their asses at most shooting games.
The point is,nobodys gonna stop complaining unless you make them,and have a stiff upper lip when someones better than you,give em a pat on the back (Unless they get an ego,like woot I won your noobzorz,then insult their spelling.) and later on use your developed skills to kick their asses.
The point is,that no matter what,don't fall into a stereotype,and if you must,back it up.

Just to tell you, if you want to be hated and disrespected by teenagers, the absolute WORST thing you can do is talk down on them with a condescending voice, which offends them. The best thing to do is treat them with respect (or pretend to) and ignore them.shannon.archer said:

im 13 atm, and while my mic makes my voice lighter (and a bit more childish), ive never been slandered for it.
normally, the "annoying kids" are 5-9 year old asshats who barely know what to do, while throwing swears left and right because they think they are better than anyone else.
maybe its because im polite and doesnt overuse my mic with random stuff, but its just about maturity. to be old enough to know how to something.
