I dislike his music. But there's something that makes it a bit more... I dunno. I don't hate him because he's popular. I guess it's part of his personality, a bit. And what he's done for popularity and such...

I am fed up with seeing his face everywhere, though... And the whole "We don't say 'German' in America" crap. NO EXCUSES. He tried to say that he thought the other guy was saying "Jew man", but he was shown the goddamn card! And you're not even FROM America, idiot! You're from Canada! What, is there something wrong with that?

Good lord, that's some serious ignorance going on there. Someone buy that kid an encyclopedia for his birthday. Though I'd be surprised if he'd even know how to open it, having probably never touched a book before.

But yeh, it's got to be something to with the voice as well. I heard a song a number of times once, some nonsense about somebody being an "eenie meenie miney mo lover". I had it in my head that it was a girl singing the song, so imagine my surprise when the same song popped up on the tv, sung by one Justin Bieber.

OT: Because everyone who is hating on him is secretly jealous of the fact he is so much richer then they are. I personally don't mind 'Baby' and, lets be honest, I'd rather pour my hatred into much more local things (JEDWARD MUST DIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!) so...yeah.
