Your brain says "To hell with you, I'll make you see whatever I want. And you can't do a thing about it!"
So, it's like LSD except you're paralyzed so it's okay.

But really, would you want to have mundane ones?
No. What I would like is to have (Well, I have them all the time, just don't remember them) more.

I love my dreams, weird or not, my dreams are awesome. I've jumped off of six spiral staircases in one, kind of like jumping down a rock wall. Jump, go forward, land, jump, continue to the ground. With the jumps in slow-motion.

I've had a zombie death match in an African colosseum-dome thing, had a shootout with some generic monsters, and just done some generally awesome shit.

As for why? I don't know. Maybe it's like that one red-light and ping-pong ball thing, your brain gets bored and just makes itself some entertainment. Or maybe it's working out it's problems, I hear you think in your sleep, solving that day's conundrums.

But seriously, why question the awesome that is dreaming?

No answer? Good.

Almost every single part of our brains are active during dreams--except the logic center, apparently.
Because fuck logic. If I want it to rain bunnies, swim in syrup, or go frog-golfing, I'll damn well do it.

Dreams are basically a middle finger to reason and logic. I was an otter and i had a party with Issac Clarke and Kratos on the pirate ship from Billy and Mandy. Dreams are truly F****** up things. I wonder where i get all these subconcious thoughts from.

Well, whatever causes them, they'd be pretty damn boring if they weren't devoid of logic.
I'd hate to have a dream all about the mundane day that I had had prior to going to bed.

I've had plenty of weird dreams...most of them involving someone getting shot. One dream for example, I started as the PM of Britain, then I somehow became a dinosaur before ending the dream as a shop assistant...all in the same dream. Also 4 people died of gunshot wounds...but I don't know why...

Last night I had one of the weirdest dreams I'd had in a while. I was talking in Algebra II with my two freshman friends and one of them was giving advice to me. Once she was done the bell rang and I ran down the hall, only to stop as I noticed a classroom that had never been there before. I took a peek inside- the board read 'Video Game History' and my AP European History teacher Mr. Gibson was sitting behind a desk with the same cheesy grin he has on his face everyday.

And then my boyfriend pops out from behind his desk and runs up to greet me at the door. Now a couple hours before I had gone to bed I had gone to see Little Shop of Horrors and he had been playing the role of Mr. Mushnik. He did very, very well I have to say, but the stage make-up, suit, and perpetual angry face on his Hispanic features made him look like an Italian mob boss.

But I digress. He runs up to me and, of course, just like I had done once the play had been over and I got to see him up close, I broke out into a fit of giggles in the dream. He simply rolls his eyes, gives me a kiss, and tells me to get to class. Then my Algebra II teacher comes up and tells me to stay in the class, as Mr. Gibson, my next block teacher, is the instructor of Video Game History. So I have to stay in there and write a paper on the Renaissance.

I woke up shortly after. I hate the Renaissance. x3

I had one recently where two of my (straight and male) friends were in a loving and serious relationship. It was slightly disconcerting.

I wish i could remember my awesome dreams...
I wish i could HAVE awesome dreams... none of my dreams are awesome.
I think dreams are subliminal reflections of your real world thoughts, doubts, worries, aspirations, fears, pleasures, and when you go to sleep, the brain stays active while the body shuts down for sleep... i could think harder into this, but it's 2 30 am.
I wish all my dreams were awesome, and remember...able...

Dreams are the real reality, the thing we call "real life" is the thing that's entirely screwed up.

Think about it, if it were the other way around, we would be thinking it would be weird if random stuff DIDN'T happen.
