Why are most mainstream FPS the constant hell hole that they are?

I recall seeing something like that on a L4D2 server. All the Infected weren't chasing us and instead were interested in making giant Tango lines across the map. We didn't kill them, because we joined in. XD

I love tango lines. My favorite has to be when two guys had a verbal sparring match to determine who gets to stand on the huge rock in the middle of the map (Halo). Nobody dared shoot them because both of them had everyone laughing. It was actually more fun than shooting each other.

Anyway, don't complain that people are good at FPS games. I mean, I pick up an FPS and yes, i'm good, but it doesn't mean that I'm some sad "hardcore" gamer nerd. It means I have the reflexes to play competently.

I agree completely. Despite all the people that loathe Bulletstorm I felt it was the beginning in a return to pure sillyness. They made it impossible to take that game seriously and I welcomed that. Hopefully Duke Nukem will follow suit.
