Why Are So Many Thread Titles Capitalised Like This?

Because that's how you write titles. It annoys me when people don't capitalise them.

You don't capitalise words such as "of" and "and" though.

Because people don't understand proper use of capitalization, sadly.

They're titles, and as such, they are generally capitalised as such.

Well I capitalize the threads that I personally create that way because I'm writing a proper title, and the capital letters are therefore appropriate. If however you have a sentence as your thread title and not an actual title, like say... the one this thread has? Well that 'method' of capitalization is in fact 100% incorrect, seriously why the hell do people do that, it's wrong. In this specific case it's to make a point (and mock everyone else doing so without ulterior motives), but everyone else simply has no excuse for capitalizing that way.

You Don't Write Sentences Like This Because This Is Not How Capitalization Works, And If You Type Entire Posts Like This I Guarantee People Are Going To Take You To Task For It Because It Is Really Annoying.

If your thread title is a sentence, don't capitalize every word, it just looks stupid and it's quite obviously incorrect - threads without any capitalization at all, obvious typos, or terrible internet jargon are only slightly lower on the thread title totem pole than "freakishly capitalized proper sentences". It shows you're willing to take the time to actually use capital letters, but that you can't be arsed to use them correctly.

These are thread titles, though, as opposed to articles or books or whatnot. It strikes me as strange to formalize them when we're just going to talk about boobs or cyborgs or cyborgs with boobs. Especially considering how often the rules of grammar are ignored the rest of the time

It's a title, thus, it's correct to capitalize it. Of course, this is an internet forum, do whatever the fuck you want, but don't call others out on something that is technically correct.

And yeah, I can put my legs behind my back. And no, it was not while I tried to do...that. It was in the company of other people, though I can't remember why. It was probably just a thought I had, and tried to do.
