Why did you join the Escapist?

I got drawn in during March Mayhem a couple of years ago. Unlike the majority of my MMO community, I stuck around to see what was what here. Found Doomsday Arcade and ZP and have been here ever since...Don't hate me, I'm a Turbine fan...

I was actually following Rebecca (Mayes) for a bit until she told me her material would be featured on The Escapist. And so I followed, full of curiosity. In the months that passed, I discovered Unskippable, Apocalypse Lane and a few other series. But following, covering and supporting Rebecca (Mayes Muses) is my first priority here.

I did know Zero Punctuation before, but I never really connected with it. If I had to choose between staying or leaving, purely based on Zero Punctuation, I had packed my suitcase already. I know I'm going to get a beating for this.

Like most, I was attracted her for Zero Punctuation after watching it on X-Play, then I saw the forums and the outstanding articles.

And I got tired of the GameSpot forums.

Stopped at the forums once, noticed they wren't idiots, said "Hey, that's nice", and left.

I found a new series on YouTube by a certain Yahtzee Croshaw. A bit later he put up a video saying he was moving to the Escapist for a series called Zero Punctuation. After simply coming to watch the videos for a while, I decided to penetrate the forums plant my seed here (Horrible sex joke intended).

Thus began the saga of Tellmeimaninja and his great quest.

[NOTE: I don't worship ZP. I simply think it's a bit funny, and I have too much spare time. Might as well watch it. Don't write me off as another ZP cultist.)

I just watched the ZP videos thought they were funny. Noticed there was games I could play but I needed an account. So I made one. Realized there was a forum and it allll began. This was my terrorist post by the way enjoy it.
