It's a post modern look at how our egocentric lifestyles are clouding our view of the ethics and moral ambiguity of our actions.

The original "Spyro the Dragon" for the Sony Playstation was the first game I remember becoming completely immersed in. The visuals were spectacular, the soundtrack was AMAZING, and the NPCs would make snarky comments rife with adult humour. I like to think there's a mischievous little purple dragon in all of us, locked away with our childhood...Damn I miss that game!
Dude! Spyro= best game series ever (the originals, I mean).

Anyways, I chose my avatar simply because the Foo Fighters are my favorite band. They're one of those bands that you discover a new song you like of theirs every day. I truly feel that they are the best band of our generation, by far. They have so many great tracks that fill me with different emotions, and some of their songs have literally changed my life (indirectly, but still). The Foo Fighters are an amazing band, and every single member of the band is an idol to me. I only hope that one day I can create something even near the greatness of oh so many of their songs.

It is my name. Plain and simple. I keep it there in case I forget who I am and get my body sheathed in metal.

Edit:

Because I'm a shameless fanboy of Mass Effect and (the three good) Splinter Cell. And I didn't want anyone to think I was trying to hide this. I'm sure you all would have figured out I was a fanboy anyway, but now I can say I was honest and upfront about it the whole time.
Where the hell does the light saber come in then?
Two members of this site suffered a tragic loss. One of them mentioned a scene in which they pictured a pink lightsaber. Thus was our memorandum born.

Huzzah! I swear, if I could play bass half that well, I wouldn't need a real job.

I chose mine because, well, it's a Servbot (Mega Man Legends). Why wouldn't you want one? They're absolutely ADORABLE. It could be because I tend to be more or less carefree in my day-to-day life, much like a Servbot, but I'm going with the first one. Look at it!

It's self explanitory. And those who say it would have been quicker to just find an avatar... shut up.

I could write essays about my symbol. I'm planning to have this thing tattoo'd on me, for chrissakes.

It is a Symbol of Chaos [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbol_of_Chaos], which means a lot to me. No, it's not a Warhammer thing. It's my life philosophy in image form. Although if I superimposed a spiral on it, it would be more accurate. But less clear.

I tend to recognise people by their avatars more than their names, so I've been keeping this consistent across sites, with only minor variation (white on black, black on white, black outline, transparent background...)

In effect, this symbol is my online identity, my visual name and my attitude.

Because I have a weakness for tiny, pretty ladies.

My friend Devon (as that is her name) just happens to fit both criteria.
Any chance you introduce me to her? Eh?
She's actually dating someone.
Who is, amusingly enough, named Caleb, I believe.

She's super fun to talk to, though.
Caleb? Really? I have never met another Caleb (I am one as well). Introduce us as well, then, when you get a moment.

I am not very quiet about my likes and dislikes.
Well, that is true, but this is the first (I think) I've heard of the thin, pretty girls part.

I've never met him.

You do realize she's like 13, right?
That is...something. I will promptly stop talking about her before the Feds show up. I would fare poorly in jail.

This is the only icon that has successfully made me smile every time I look at it. Plus, I have a downright stereotypical fangirlish obsession with the Axis Powers Hetalia series, plus it's America. Ho'yeah. *waves a flag in one hand and eats a hamburger with the other*
