I am currently at Arizona State for a bachelors degree in Computer System Engineering.

Mostly I'm going because ASU is giving me money to do so.

I've screwed around with university for ages. I'm like four years out of school with only one year under my belt. I took a gap year and took a few courses i didn't like and dropped those pretty fast. Felt hard to get motivated about what i was doing because i felt i didn't have a goal or anything. Now i've found what i want to do (Meteorology) i'm keen to get it done!

University of New South Wales, australia (apparantly its world renown, YOU tell me!)
Degree: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical), mite change to aerospace or chemical engineering.
1. Public
2. to get degree, permanent job, dunno really
3. im sorta good at it (at least i think), and cuz dad said so (lol)
"So what are u gonna do after you get a science degree? ... EXACTLY! Do engineering like i did."
4. getting degree, student/teacher relationship (in tutorials, not in lectures that contain 500 students)
5. economic problems, better opportunities (must be awesome opportunity, like winning lotto)
6. Good job prospects for engineers
7. get a job i guess

I just finished 1st year, and im doing summer session, i failed second semester maths (as well as 329 other people) so im repeating it.

EDIT: lol @ RhinoTuna. Im still not even sure i shouldve done engineering, screw my dad, i probably shouldve done B.Sci, or even maths education or something..something easier, but meh..

Course/Degree: Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating.
College: None of your buisness!
1a

2a, and e.
Economically it makes no sense not to go to college.
I'm the first person in my immediate family to gradutate High School, and Graduate from College. Wasn't preasured by my family-per-say to go to college. I always had plans, I just didn't 'decide' what exactly where in the field I chose I wanted to go. (Originally wanted Architect, but after learning about what the architect actually does, I went towards the drafting end of things, 2 year degree as opposed to a 5 year, in a non-competitive program)

5d since I didn't drop, I wouldn't, nor would I, and if I 'had to' it would be financial reasons, but coming up with the money can always be relatively easy if you actually 'look'. You'd be suprised how many people just 'throw' money at ya.
I once got a $600 from some group of people, the only condition was to write a thank you letter... I never did and still got the $600 >_>.

A is what I would have said if my field of study wasn't directly related to the housing and morgage market.
Right now, in my area its next to impossible to find a job. However going out of state would probably net a job pretty fast. However going out of state is a big risk. If you don't know anyone, you can't 'fall back' on some place until you find a new job, cause lets face it. You learn 10x more in the first week in the field, then you do in 10 years of college. And you may have a 4.0 in your courses, doesn't mean your a model employee, let alone able to actually do thej ob. ;) So having a reasonable place to fall back on case of the inevetiable lack of job, cause we all know, fresh graduates tend NOT to stay at their first job for more than a year.

Still trying. :(

Computer Science
State University, and that's all you get

1. State, so public.

2. Because I hate money. Plus, it's the best way to get a job in my desired occupation.

3. It's what I want to do.

4. Learning, obviously.

5. I won't.

6. It'll be pretty easy, hopefully.

7. Continue studying, then get a job.

Because I'll kidnap you all and sell your organs.
Of course, it is not true. It's just a "survey" for an stadistical project at my university. Thank you all, I got a lot of answers. I can't thank you enough. The mod can close the thread anytime. :)
