Why do I hate glee

Because it's incredibly stupid, has no continuity, all the characters we're supposed to like act like jackasses, every episode has a stupid moral that makes no sense and is taught offensively, everyone is a flat stereotype, the jokes aren't funny, the actors are too bad to pull off drama, and the song choices are like bad karaoke versions that don't have any relevance to the plot at all.

And I say all this as a fan of the show. I watch it purely because it's so terrible it's hilarious, sort of like why I love playing FFX-2 so much or watching The Happening. Some things are just too stupid to hate. But, yeah, people who actually take this show seriously are a mystery to me. :/

The rare times I have Glee it has irritated me. I could have ignored the show quite happily if I didn't hear that godforsaken Don't stop believin' song over and over again. It was an OK song sure, but it is not the best song I have ever heard by a long shot. That, and everyone seems to be a stereotype and the main girl person (or at least the one that seems to take the lead in all the songs I have seen) is just unlikable.

Also, what is that stupid thing that the jocks/bullies/whatever do with those slush puppies/slushie things? Flinging it in people's faces is a waste, slushies are damned nice!

Degenerated shit like this is why I think Goebbels, despite being one of the worst liars in the history of mankind, might have had the right idea about modern art... Just look at what happened after the end of WWII: "Art Moderne" ("Oh look I've just painted this canvas blue! It's art, really!"), hipsters, reality TV (e.g. Jersey Shore), and now crap like this.
I have no admiration for the Nazis, I despise their idealistic bullshit. But I think their thing against modern art might have been prophetic in some way...

you don't have to have a reason to hate it. if you hate it, then you hate it. as long as you don't go on a hate crusade on it..

I don't love glee, I think the problem you have with it is that the show is that it isn't aimed at you, also I think allot of people get a bit pissed when they hear some all time classics getting covered by some pubescent teens with poorly dubbed voices making up for the fact that they cant sing. Though I find the music to be INCREDIBLY annoying, I do think the drama in the show is well written and pretty clever at points, the characters are really well developed and fleshed out. I don't get the understanding of people getting so actively angry at these shows, if you've given it a shot and discovered that it isn't your cup of tea you don't have to watch it, just change the channel, of if you sister with similar testes to is watching it just leave the room, problem solved.

I have watched the show twice because my sister is really into it and we have similar tastes, but I hated it with a fiery passion. When she asked me why I hated it I honestly didn't know what I didn't like about it. I said it was gimmicky but that doesn't seem like that's quite it. I was hoping you could give me some of your reasons for hating the show to help me.

My psychic powers are not what they used to be, so I'm afraid I can't tell you why you hate Glee with a fiery passion. I can tell you however, why I find it completely uninteresting myself: It's boring high school drama about teenagers, which I'm not able to relate to. "Oh noes, the evil gym teacher is going to sabotage our glee club, what should we do?" Why should I care?

I can sometimes enjoy it but when that coach lady or whomever starts messing with stuff that is blatant and obvious destruction of property, outright harassment, theft, assault and all that good stuff and she suffers little to no penalties to this or people are unnaturally oblivious or ignorant of her actions, or simply cant gather evidence against her...I lost where I was going with this. But every time she shows up I tell my fiance that she totally breaks the universe's rules set forth in that show as she suffers no logical consequences for being an outright tool and crook. She would have been fired if not arrested well within the first few episodes.

Other than that it's all high school drama to me, which I have had enough of to be honest, and I find it centered too much on the idea of being gay. I have no issues with homosexuality but dammit it doesn't need to be forced into every facet of everything with emphasis.

Overall I just find it grating and painful to watch, and it reminds me of the year or so that there was a huge writers strike and tv really sucked.

I absolutely can not stand it either. I watched the one episode with Neil Patrick Harris, because if he wasn't gay I would be ALL OVER that man, and because my AP calc teacher apparently looked like the teacher guy.
All in all I HATED it. It made me want to burn things. But I really can't stand how they portray schools. Or singing. It makes me hate them for even singing.

Maybe it's because they show everyone being accepted but we know that is malarkey.

NPH is gay? I had no idea. I'm not big into celebrity stuff but still I would have thought I known that. Just read up on it now and he really did come out publicly. There's a guy I can respect because he doesn't seem to suffer from being gay like the Glee cast, and doesn't use it as an excuse to hate everyone like my former "Youth in Conflict with the Law" professor did. People should be more confident and ok with themselves in general.

Hopefully this is all coherent and non offensive, I tried my best to word it but I'm barely staying awake during my night shift yet again.
