Why do I keep doing that?

Everyone has their quirks that get them killed or simply make the game harder. Some people hoard their most powerful weapons no matter the occasion simply because something ahead may warrant their use. Others have a habit of doing just the opposite, letting loose with all of their strongest attacks, only to not be able to stand up to a boss/tough enemy because of a lack of resources.

What are your little flaws that get you killed?

While I do have a bad habit of not using my strongest attacks and end up not using them later anyway, my biggest problem is expecting luck to be with me always when playing RPG's like Fire Emblem. I always think that since I have a very good choice of avoiding, I won't have to worry. Then I end up eating my words.

I had to think about that one for a moment. Probably because I'm used to F6 instead of F5. I think I've screwed myself over from quick saving too often at least once.

I usually try to do things in interesting ways leading me to about 3x the health loss and many funny pictures painted on the wall in combine blood.

After every encounter with an enemy/enemies, I always reload.
ALWAYS! Even if I've only fired once!

IN COD... Getting too excited and clicking down the analogue stick, knifing or ducking by mistake.

Costs me a lot of kills.

Yup, that's me. I always avoid using my better weapons just in case I won't be able to beat something later on.

Same goes for special attacks - limit breaks in Final Fantasy for example.

You always can tell when you'll need them though because there's a save point.

I horde me best weapons and stick with whatever gets the most ammo while still being effective. I also tend to want to finish a fight a certain way, and they normally don't.

No, a 360 but I'm sure I'd do it even more on a PS3!

I reload after almost every burst of fire I do. It's a habit left over from Doom III.

I also jump around and try to charge buildings and rooms too much. That's a habit left over from Halo.

I'm like that in so many games, after every fight I quicksave, just in case.

Oh and reloading after every kill, usually this is a good thing but sometimes I forget that I'm wielding a gun with a huge clip and reload time, this reflex particularly came back to bite me in Alien Swarm, as you lose the rest of the bullets in your clip when you reload.

I hate fighting in melee unless i'm tanking so i tend to avoid it which means i'm very squishy and that tends to bite my ass when the rush gets me.

Yeah, I'm sure. It happened quite a bit with my roommate's PS3, but haven't had it happen yet with my 360. It's the one thing I like better about the 360 controller.

In FPSs online, I have to reload after every single person I kill. Gets me killed a lot.
