I think of it as a grand free period in school. In this classroom there are groups of students discussing what ever in their respective groups (threads). It's fun because we can say whatever we want without any backlash IRL. Thus there is almost the same freedom as you would writing in a dairy, but it's public and out there at the same time. Up for discussion.
