Its basic human instinct i guess.
I Hate a rather lot of things
Especially those blasted Anti-Skubbers!

Nature and nurture.

EDIT: My general point is that our hatred for anything is both natural and it is inherited as we grow up. Yes, you can have a natural disliking for something. For example, I don't like grape flavored lollipops. This is natural. It just doesn't tickle my fancy.

On the other had we are also influenced by the things we are exposed to as we grow up. (Nurture). This is the values taught from our parents, as well the environment we are exposed to. For example, my taste in clothing and music will be much different than someone who has lived in the 'ghetto' parts of the city. Also, If my parents were KKK members, I doubt I would have a high regard towards the black community.
