Why do you come to The Escapist

Came because of March Madness. Joined because you had to sign up to vote (or use facebook to sign in, which I despise doing).
Stayed because... well, IDK really. Probably the forums and general community.
Nowadays I come for the forums, ZP, Extra Credits, and the news.

I work a desk job. The majority of my work I can get done within the first two hours or so after punching in, with only sporadic light work coming in for the rest of the day.

My employer doesn't mind me browsing the web during downtime, so long as my work gets done and done correctly.

So the Escapist offers me something to do, since I refuse to rely on Facebook to fill that role.

Boredom. There is not much stuff online I give a damn about so I turn on, check a few sites (games/wrestling/facebook) and once in a while post and that's it, this site is just part of a routine for me now.

I started like many others with ZP, but after that I went straight into the forums. When Extra Credits started the site started getting even more of my time, and with Lisa Foiles even more. Now LRR has caught my attention and I imagine by the time I get bored of the Escapist I'll have watched every video series on here except for Jimquisition and Movie Bob since neither is particularly to my taste.

Back in the day, I was addicted to a show called XPlay and one day they started showing little censored clips of ZP, and after awhile it piqued my interest enough and I came to this site and now here I am.

For me, I always visit for Zero punctuation,Top 5 with Lisa Foiles and Unskippable (even though I don't watch Unskippable as much as I used to) I also visit for the forums, as there is always something interesting to read and comment about, and I have met some pretty cool people from all around the world. I love this site

Came for the forums and gaming discussion/news. Stayed from the forums with added off-topic stuff, ZP, Unskippable etc. and the UK Escapist meet!
