Why do you Game?

I am constantly thinking to myself why do I game, not because I don't want to ,but because Gaming is my passion and I feel strongly in gaming I remind myself why I play games and why it is not something that should be looked down upon. I play games because they take me into a world that I cannot enter into in this universe and I can feel different feelings and live a different life.

So I wondered why is it you play? Is it just for the action, is it for the story, or something else?

I game because i think it is very fun. i want to be able to pick up a game and play it for about a month so that is why i game

It's often just a great way to spend time.
Other times, I just want to play to mess around by doing things I cannot get away with in reality.
Then there are the games I play because I want to get sucked into an epic story.
It depends on how I'm feeling at any given moment, really.

It's for the experience a good game can give you. The feeling that made me say "Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow" out loud multiple times playing Halo3.

The feeling that made me play through Lost Odyssey even though I hate turn based games.


It's that feeling of actually being part of an amazing world where amazing things are possible...

I use video games to unwind after work. It's good fun getting decent kill:death ratios and seeing your improvement over time. Though recently I've started playing Plants vs Zombies again. The sunflowers, they're just so happy.
