Or whenever it is you do get up...

Yeah, simple question really, what makes you able to face the day? Is it some special motivation? Is the day just that awesome?

Personally, I get up because the longer I lay in bed the less time I have on the good computer, or if it's a school day then because the sooner I get to school the less people I have to go near.

When it comes to serious V silly, I don't mind. You can reply with the deepest thing on Earth second to the mineshaft I'm gonna bury Jack Thompson in, or you can reply with a post that's written backwords in German that just says how great the moon is while you're on ice cream.

Please don't reply with a post that's written backwords in German that just says how great the moon is while you're high on ice cream.

i get up in the morning because having 30 minutes to get ready for work doesn't make me a productive worker.

I would have to agree with the first two. But that is only why i get up on time.

Basically i wake up so i can further my understanding about reality. Or so i can further challenge my understanding and my own thoughts. Sleep dulls the mind with senseless fantasy, and while i am awake i have the chance to sort threw and try to slowly unravel the knot that is the simplest and most complicated question.

What is Real?

Why am i alive?

Edit: And guys, i trust you to not abuse my work in any way. Criticism is cool, but plagiarism sucks.

I get up in the morning because if i didn't, i'd just stay in bed all day.
realistically:
because i have to go to school to get an education and whatnot.

i feel horribly lazy if i sleep in.
The problem for me is if i sleep past my alarm i will sleep until someone wakes me up.
i slept in until 1 and felt cranky afterward.

If it's a school day i get up about 7am and get ready to catch the bus at 8.
The really annoying thing is i wake up exactly 10 seconds before my mum comes in and turns the light on.

If it isn't a school day then most of the time i get up around 2 in the afternoon.
If i really cba i get up around 4 or maybe not at all :D

Because 5 days of the week I have to work and if I didn't get up in the morning to work, I would be fired. On my RDO's however, I will stay in bed until I can no longer sleep. Once the sun rises I find it quite difficult to sleep.

I get up because once I'm awake there is a limit to how long I can lie in bed trying to remember last nights dream.

I get up because I have uni early in the morning.

I go to uni because I wan't to get a good job in a research position.

I want to get into a research position because I want to somehow make the world at least a slightly better place. A noble thing.

I also want a ton of money that makes regular richfolk seem proletariat so me and my girlfriend can spit on everyone from our mountain of cash. That's noble too.

Honestly, I get up every morning because there's always something that might happen for the better (and also for the worse); while I sometimes desire to just sleep the days away, I often find it best to get out of bed and try to make the best out of every day. I mean, this is the only life we'll most certainly know to experience (and whether or not there is an afterlife, I can't leave my hopes hanging that I'll remember this life anyway).

I get up an hour before having to go anywhere because it takes me that long to wake up... I take a long time to be fully awake after a good nights sleep, so much so that it isn't easy to tell if I've slept well until you get a good two hours into a day.

I get out of bed because I have the sign `get out of bed you lazy moron` written on my ceiling.

There us philosophy for philosphy`s sake, and praticalbility

It is not like I hatemy life or anything. I just hate getting out of bed. Gravity gets stronger as you age
