Why do you love your Xbox/PS3/Wii more than the other systems, I challenge you to talk about why you love about your game system without putting down or even referancing any other consoles Just say what you love about your console of choice.

Just curious about our natural instincts as (insert console here) Fanboys/girls. So what do you love about your console?

Bonus points: Whats something you love about the opposing console

I like my Xbox360 Because of the great games available for it and the controller feels very good in your hands.

This is my system. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My system is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my system is useless. Without my system, I am useless. I must play my system true. I must play straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must play him before he plays me. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my system and myself are defenders of my allegiance, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.

Wii- Because it's freakin' Nintendo! Nintendo is part of my childhood, and no matter how much crap shovelware was thrown on to it, I still love my Wii.

360- Most of my friends have one, it helps me keep in contact with them, it houses my favorite game ever, Mass Effect!

PS3- Its a handy BlueRay player, and it has kickass exclusives. Plus I have one of the "PS3 Phats" so I'm sure I could use it as a defenive weapon if the situation called for it.

I'm not sure if this is console specific or not, from the actual post I would assume so, but you use "system" in the thread title which makes me think otherwise. I enjoy PC the most because it's not restrictive, I can browse the internet, speak with friends, listen to music, play 2 games at once and masterbate watch TV, and if that's not awesome enough, I can do them all at the same time. As well as that, I like the ability to mod my games, so many games have their replay value extended by a crazy amount just because of mods. I also think games run much smoother on PC in both graphics and gameplay, controllers are cool but they don't compare to the keyboard and mouse for me.

Oh, and PC have MMO's, (in my experience) a better community, Valve supported games and potentially glitch-free Bethesda games.

I'm not saying PC is the best, but for me it is.

All i have is a Wii.
All iv ever had are Nintendo systems, i grew up with Nindendo.

I love the Xbox and PS but, Nintendo systems have always had more of my favorite games.

HARDMODE
Xbox:I love the connectivity and good variety of multiplayer games on it.
PS:I love its Multimedia capabilities and all the really good but otherwise Obscure games it often gets.

I totally agree, but it's not the reason PC's are my favourite. They're my favourite because I built it, I lovingly chose all the bits and bobs that reside therein; all the new shiny components, the battered case that's 10 years old and the screws that are holding it all together (which are probably older) were put there buy me. It is my baby.

Console wise though its PS3 for me, I prefer the controller and I love Metal Gear Solid. it was never going to happen any other way. I am a playstation fan boy, there I said it.

I will have to bow down to the xbox's superior networking though. The PS3 (sadly) doesn't hold a candle to it, and that is taking into account it being free.

But who needs friends anyway... yeah...

I love my Wii because it plays No More Heroes, Super Smash Bros, Zelda, Mario and Fire Emblem. And more.
I love my PS2 because it plays Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII-XII and more, Dragon Quest VII/VIII and most recent SMT titles. And more.
I love my 360 because it plays Fallout 3/New Vegas, Dragon Age Origins, Fable, Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia. And still more.

Hell, I'm having a love affair with various old-school PC games right now too.

Good point, I don't have that strong of an attachment to my PC in that way because I didn't build it personally, me and my dad did from scratch ages ago. I guess it's nice to be reminded of that though thinking about it. It's a much better thought than thinking back on how many times my Xbox has broke just before an anticipated game was released.

On an off note, I've played on my brother's PS3 and never had much of a problem with the network, in fact I thought it ran much smoother than my Xbox which seems to alternate every day between an open and strict NAT. I'd actually buy a PS3 if it wasn't for the fact my friends play Xbox, although I'm seriously considering it now with all their amazing exclusives. I really don't care much at all for Xbox's exclusives.

I've had a PS2 forever, not the same one (brother sold of my first one for drugs, and my second one died) but I couldn't imagine having a different console. I love the large library of games, and the fact I can still find awesome games for it 10 years after it's release. Not to mention I haven't held a comfier controller than the PS2 one.

Hrmm...

I love the Wii because it does motion control and pointer stuff great (well, for me at least, most people I know suck at Red Steel 1, but I kick ass...). And it has Zelda games.

I love the 360 and PS3 processing power (I don't own one) because it makes for some very pretty games (I mean that in the best way). However, my PC can own any of them, but this is a console thread!

The Wii has Nintendo games! Not just new Nintendo games, but timeless classics that I can access with just a few clicks of my Wiimote. I do wish it had better newer games, but I'm having lots of fun with the old stuff. I'm like... the perfect Nintendo customer, considerably hooked on nostalgia and gaming history!

Cool thread, but you left out handhelds. I love my PSP because it offers a rich gaming experience that rivals that of home consoles (game examples being GOW, MGS, and, from what I've seen, 3rd Birthday). It gets bonus points in my book for multi-functionality, too. Granted, I'm biased since I work for a company that's affiliated with Sony, but I probably use it more than any of my other systems.
