Fer teh luzz.

Actually I enjoy the bit of time that I can escape from things into another world. Although I really should play less games, too much important stuff to do besides saving the princess and whatnot.

Because I enjoy them more than shallow action movies and they are awsome

I play video games because while I was growing up with Autism, kids made fun of me. I felt worthless knowing that I could never be normal, but when I was playing video games I was the hero, the people in the game looked up to me, or I was the one who decided the fate the world and so on. It made me feel good, ever since then I've been a devoted gamer.
I have autism too, I play games because they're the only thing I've ever been good at and the only thing I've ever truly enjoyed

Because they are a fun thing to do on your own. I enjoy a good book or movie but games for me are more fun because you feel more involved.

Well, to give a completely honest reason besides "They're fun.", the real world (for an average person) is kind of boring. You eat, work, and sleep. That can get pretty boring after about 3,650 conscious days of doing it. Video games are spice up the real world in a variety of ways.

It needs to alternate creating and saiting the brain twi-itchyness that I can't resolve by writing.
