Why do you still play COD?

I find it fun every once in a while. Modern Warfare 2 isn't that bad of a game. Though I can only tolerate Modern Warfare 2 like once every two months, it can be fun to play in small bursts. Though I have also considered getting Black Ops just to grief people.

Granted, I could say the same thing about tf2, dead space 2, battlefield bad company 2, and tons of other games.
Just because you don't enjoy cod doesn't mean that everyone hates. My connection is fine, my hit detection is fine, I kill campers, and I ignore other players.

I have been playing Black ops for the last few months, and I have experienced the lag and hit notification, but it doesnt happen often and it is something that i can put up with...

And campers, easy, just last night, a camper got me twice, so i snuck around behind him, climbed up and was standing at his feet for long enough for himt o turn around and get me, but he didnt even notice he got what was coming for him. Then the next map, there were about 3 or 4 people camping together, in all i got 2 of them before they noticed me in the corner of the map with my assult rifle killing them off... but now im just bragging, so ill leave it at that.

i only play campaign and combat training on any CoD because i refuse to play any form of competitive multiplayer lately. but i hate people who make up stupid arguments for it. i dont care if they lick black ops more than halo but you cant use "better plot" as an argument! and yes the graphics are sooooo awesome! you can lie down inside corpses and the closer you get to something the crapper it looks!

Meh, I don't play COD. I alternate between Killzone 3 and Halo: Reach. It will soon include Brink and Battlefield most likely when they are released.

You're arguing subjectively. If he enjoys COD that's fine, that does not mean he's incorrect.

OT: I find Blops fun to play with friends, and forgive it for the horribly overpowered Ghost perk. What I can't stand is the horrible hit detection thanks to shit connection. I've died so many times to commando stabbings. I've played plenty of first person shooters, but they all seem to lack the tight controls. Playing BF:BC2 after COD binge is similar to running a lap with your body covered in wet cement.

I mainly only play Black Ops now with friends. I actually enjoy the gameplay, granted I've been at the point for awhile now where I only play it when playing in a party.
I think the only COD game I didn't really enjoy was World at War, with the exception of it's co op campaigns.

Zombies. That's basically it. I've gotten to level 50 and prestiged in Blops, so I've experienced pretty much all it has to offer. But whoever thought of Zombies was a genius.
