Why do you watch ZP?

I watch it for 3 reasons:
1. Because I have finally found a reviewer that I share the same veiws with.
2. Because it is highly useful for a reviewer to point out all the bad things in a good game rather than find the game is good and hide the little bad things like they did something bad to the reviewer's children.
3. It's funny and I have never seen humor done so well in a review.

All in all I enjoy it and its one of the few things that gets be through the other half of the week.

I find Yahtzee to be an interesting character and his humour and critisism is something new to me.

Because he is the only reviewer who appears to have a functioning brain.

Fable 2 was getting perfect 10s all over the place, even though it was a huge steaming heap of poodle doo. Yahtzee was the only one who pointed out just how crap it was.

Well, he's the best of them out there, he's a critic, so he points out everything that is crap, instead of selling out to the hype and just saying its great, hate that every single reviewer out there gives crap games 7 and good games 10, i mean its a 1-10 spectrum, 10 is perfect and 1 is crappy, 7 is very good, yet they continue to give 7 to crap games cause their scared about calling a game out on whats bad about it.

That and the fact that he is the only one that has good humour about it, only one i can think of who also critics games is James Rolfe (AVGN), but he was only fun in the beginning thanks to the extremely unmature humour, but it gets dull to watch to many of them, the excessive swearing wears you down until you just dont find it funny to watch anymore.

Because hes most of the time correct (Within Reason).
Doesnt hype anything up and just says it how it is.
Adds that bit of humour to it so its easier to take in.

His Bioshock review made me realize that said game, while good, was not the savior of FPS gaming I imagined it to be. It was a moment of sincere reflection on my own standards.

Because it's funny. Also, I'm not a next-gen gamer, so it's fun for me to watch people's favorite games get blasted while I sit around playing 5-10 year old games on my PS2.

He gets paid to be scathing instead of praising towards games. This means he points out the mistakes other reviewers will skim past. His animations are cute, he is actually funny, and the pace is so fast that it won't become boring or run out of steam.

He is unfarly critical to any game, and has a very biased view of what is fun, to the point that i sometimes believe he is payed to talk shit. And he never actually surprises me in his viewpoints of a game. And lately he has barely touched the good games (it is funnier to hear someone complain about a game you thought was good than a game which you already knew was a generic mass-produced garbage-game without anything really revelusionary to bring to the world (why the wicked maniac did he even want to play Dead Space? It is like Doom, but in space...).

Anyway, i watch him because he is insanely crazy kind of funny. The way i love watching rambling people on the street below me. And crazynut christians who do actually believe the world was created in seven days for no more that 4000 years ago.
