Why does everybody here love TF2?

I am in no way knocking it, I love it, but why does every single person seam to like TF2 on this site? I really have not seen so many TF2 fans on any one site then this one. Is it the humor? The fun gameplay? Do you just find the Heavy cute? What do you guys love about it and makes you all play it?

Why not? Its a fucking addicting and fun game that never gets old. I started playing TF2 on the PS3 and bought a gaming PC just for it.

Haven't played it either, as I'm not much for online shooters and I'm not a big PC gamer. That said, I do appreciate the visual style and humour they seem to incorporate into the game.

I love it, but I don't have the money. I was searching the web, and stumbled upon the TF2 Wiki. Then I got hooked.

TF2 has silly characters, which are often portrayed as outright stereotypes of places like France and Scotland. In addition, the game doesn't take itself seriously and the gameplay is very addictive. Finally, when it's a tie game, you're all losers!

Its one of the most well balanced class based shooters out there, something that any online game should have, the visuals are stunning, and I can still laugh even when I die.

Because it's a fun balanced game, with unending support from the devs, and frankly what other game do you get to talk to your psychopathic sandviche? (not sammich, or sandwich I'm talking SANDVICHE)

That video is a perfect example. The entire thing makes funny videos for youtube, weather it just be gameplay videos, Gmod videos, or just funny occurrences like in these videos.
