I know I started this topic a bit late.
This is just a topic out of curiosity... I don't want to start a flame war or anything like that.
If your excuse is "he lied", please state the lie. If that lie has to do with the middle east and nuclear weapons THAT WAS NOT A LIE, he was just wrong.
Has he really done that bad of a job?

Ppl hate him cause his child-like gestures and lack of speaking skills make him look stupid (I doubt he's smart, but still). Also, no one like a war-time president unless the war is looked upon as a crusade of sorts.

Incompetent and led too easily by his advisors and subordinates.

President of the USA takes a capable and strong mind. He lacks integrity and personal strength. All of his atrocities aside, he is far from the man for the job.

The rioters are to blame.
Who is to blame for the killings?
The killers are to blame."

Bush is not bad, Cheney is.
He however is not the worst president, but most certainly not in the Top Ten best
Andrew Johnson earns the worst president, with Nixon as a close second

well seeing as he's run the country in to the ground and wastes billions of dollars a month ($11 billion to be precise) on a pointless war, yah he's done a horrible job. that and he lied about the middle east.

Clarify...
How IS the war pointless?

Agreed, but just because he is an idiot doesn't mean he is incompetent.

This is by far the most constructive post in this entire topic. You should be proud of your self.

Why no comment for the Ultrajoe? I thought he made a good point.
Unless of course if this is one of those "agree with me or I'll shun your posts" kind of threads.

Pointless War= Attacking a country with no WMDs, We should've focused our attention on Afghanistan, To clean up Clinton's mistake, but No we blew quite the pretty penny and most international support chasing Unicorns, We could've used the upper hand to invade Sudan (genocide is still real)

I don't hate George Bush Jr at all, either he's a cunning actor or he's too dumb to tie his own shoelaces. In either case it seems unlikely that he was actually responsible for anything but showing up. The Bush administration has been like a bad joke. It's been like an awful parody of humor the republicans have been trying to explain and get us to laugh at - with ever-increasing extravagance ever since they rigged an election, lost it anyway, then declared themselves victors - to the meek silence of all.

But I'm not a US Citizen, I'm from NZ, so maybe it's just me who thinks Bush is a tool from a belt of tools around the waist of a body that seems completely alien to the good people I hear about on 'This American Life'.

well, war's pointless because we've killed thousands of soldiers and tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians in the name of anti terrorism. but we all know that's bullshit cause all we want is their oil. you can't fight terrorism by plowing through a country, in fact if anything that creates more terrorism.
"because all we want it their oil" thats why we are letting them have open contracts with whoever they want to be in american or foreign companies......hmmmm believe what you will I suppose.

Notice that America has not been attacked in 7 years so maybe the war has had a positive effect by taking the front elsewhere.

The reason that i particularly don't like him is he took the surplus of money our government, and dashed it away in almost 2 years... then kept going down from there.

Oh and The Iron Ninja, i'm utterly surprised that one man can say all those things...
