I doesn't bother me that they arnt coming up with new IPs. They need to make games which they haven't touched in a while. Like a Yoshis island or Donkey Kong or Pokemon RPG or Luigis Mansion or F-Zero or Star Fox for example. They have so many games with excellent formulas that they really dont have to do much to stay ahead in the market.
Perhaps a proper treatment in a Sonic and Mario together in a platformer will keep me happy.
