Why doesn't the escapist have......

why doesn't the escapist have user signatures? I've been curious as to why they didn't(a signature is something you have that attaches itself to every post you make at the very bottom)

Also, is there anything you wish the escapist would have, but doesn't?

EDIT: I'd just like to say, I agree that sigs are usually pointless and that the escapist doesn't need them. I was just curious as to if there was a specific reason. Also I sometimes only recognize people by their signature on some sites because they chronically change their avatar

Because they don't really add all that much and they can be very annoying.

Because they just take up space and are really rather pointless. I prefer the current format without 'em.

because somebody will attach a huge ass picture to there signature that made every post of theres a nuisance.
Imagine if someones posts always ended with something like this

I suppose it's because a lot of people on other forums I've been on tend to break the rules when it comes to signatures by going overboard with them. I can't count the number of times I've loaded up a page and been confronted with dozens of picture sigs that are at least 5x larger than the rules of the forum say.

Text signatures that have a decent word limit so that they're not 15 lines long, or even picture signatures that have a size restriction so that they are at most the height of avatars and have harsh punishments for going over the size limit, could be nice to have though. They're not required, but it could be nice to have them.
