It may be a simply stupid question, but when I think about it it's pointless. How difficult is it to grasp that people are going to disagree with you? Arguments can be fun, but only when your destroying your opponent with logic and sense, not when your fumbling around making nonsensical words like you use the palms of your hands to type.

It may just be me, but flamers tend to destroy the internet, so what's the point?

Because the internet allows people to react with no negative consequences. Unfortunately this almost always means that default to being dicks. Does this say more about what Society has managed to conform out of the everybody person, or more about the general nature of humans?

It just proves one of my inner feelings, Humans are dicks, and only the individuals who manage to distinguish themselves should have any attention paid to them.

Arguing is fum. On the interwebnet it's rather easy and not even stressful. Pointless flaming, of course, is annoying, as well as trolling.

I fight. I fight people even knowing I'm wrong. Winning a losing battle is more rewarding than winning when you already know you have claimed victory.

Sorry, but typing "pwned" or "you suck" isn't quite the same thing as fighting. Internet arguments are no measure of courage or character.

Neither is real fighting, unless if you are defending someone. But "I fight people even knowing I'm wrong" isn't the right way to go about things and in real life wouldn't be a measure of character or courage.

Wouldn't that involve saying that flaming is great, making that person a flamer, resulting in him getting flamed which is his favorite thing to do?
