So whats the profit of hating and insulting??

I really don't hate much, mostly I am annoyed by things. "Hate" on the internet seems to be based on annoyed by volume. A ton of posts on a specific topic and people start to "hate" on it.

Real life hate is another monster.

Why hate?

Discontent is the first step of progress of any nation or man
Hate when properly channeled is one of the most if not the most effective motivator of getting shit done. Think about it, at some point Hate was the catalyst that spurred on damned near every invention ever made. "I hate how I cant see at night" led to the discovery of fire. "I hate how heavy my stuff is to carry" lead to the invention of the wheel, and hatred has been the father of invention ever since.

Why hate liberals??
Same reason I hate conservatives, which is simply "Politics only cause bickering and fucking over of others."
Well, the thing is that liberal and conservatives are less of sides and more of a way people think.

Picking Republican over Democrat however, that's something to be put into question.

OT: I honestly hate none of those accept Lulzsec. They ruined a hobby for everyone for shits and giggles.

Oh, and I hate when people post political things on Facebook. Especially when it's clear though know nothing about what they're saying.

Religion is an irrational approach to finding the truth. Being able to force others with threats of violence to accept your belief system doesn't make it correct.
This has nothing at all to do with your post, so I don't even know why I'm posting this myself, but it just seemed oddly appropriate.

Why hate lulzsec??
Why hate gays??
Why hate liberals??
Why hate "insert what you hate"??
Because it is easier to hate than to think.

1. I don't know what that is.
2. Please keep in mind there is a great difference between hate and disapproval. Most of those who oppose homosexuality do it out of disapproval, not hate.
3. Though dislike would probably be a better word for the actual situation, I think the favored liberal political methods of ad hominem and so forth largely creates the stigma. No one likes being called a jackass simply because the person disagrees with something. It does not lend credibility to the harasser. Of course, stupidity is not kept to either side, but some methods are more legitimate and objective.
4. The only thing I can truly say I hate, for it is a stronger word than is now implied, is sin. That is another topic altogether.

Because at the end of the day there are going to be ideals, ideas, factions, fractions, objects, people and other things out there in the world that one is going to love and be passionate about. Conversely there are going to be people who are going to be passionate and love other things that are completely opposite and or in conflict with what the first group of people enjoy.

They can 'debate', they can 'agree to disagree', but ultimately there is always going to be a measure of mistrust and loathing. One very rarely hates something for no reason. More often than not hate is an expression of passion for something that they feel encroaches and threatens what they love and hold dear.

Without love. There can be no expression for hatred.

CUZ THAT'S HOW WE DO...

In all honesty though, what you see as hate I see as hilarious. Why make fun of everyone? Cuz it's fucking funny, that's why. You may be appalled when you hear me make a joke about a gay black peg-legged jew but you gasping is making the joke even funnier.

See, while we are making fun of the person in the joke, we're more so making fun of the people annoyed by said joke. Pretty simple concept. While it may be racist (or sexist, or anti-gay, country or everything else) it's actually telling political correctness to fuck off. I do like black people but so many good jokes are about them. I actually have plenty of black friends and you know what? They're worse then I am. And they make fun of everybody, not just each other.

Like I said before, that's how we do.
Oh, and all the liberal I know are wusses (and are usually very PoliCorrect) and such so I don't like them. And being anti-arms isn't going to endear you to me either.

You just described most of my black friends. Nice. And I have quite a few. And people wonder where these stereotypes come from.

I hate become sometimes I just get built up anger and hating on something that is meaningless makes me feel better on the inside.

And to answer your questions:

1) Because they acted like pricks
2) I don't.
3) They are forcing overdone political correctness into society. Otherwise I don't.
4) Because you touch yourself at night.

Because they're the sort of people who don't mind deliberately causing people trouble when the people don't necessarily deserve it.
But what does hating achieve? I think the point was that hating something doesn't change anything. Either you have a legitimate reason, which means you have a non-hate reason to try and stop/hinder/prevent action/person/thing 'X' from doing whatever it is you consider worthy of hate; or you do not have a legitimate reason, in which case there is no reason to hate them.

It would seem more reasonable to figure out why you hate them, put your emotions to the side, and reduce it to the less intense, but potentially more practical "I disagree with their/its ideals/consequences, and therefore feel it is important that, when given the opportunity, work towards a more beneficial and less harmful ideal/consequence."

Why does it need to achieve anything? It's just an emotion. I have a reason and for that reason I hate them. What is the benefit in reducing it to a less intense emotion? How is it at all more practical? Hating doesn't require action, it's simply the intensity of how much I dislike it.
Because it is irrational; more so than other emotions. You gain absolutely nothing from hatred. It is dark and twisted, and taints anything it touches. The only thing I can see hating without alternative[footnote]Meaning you cannot justify a substitute emotion, or in some way re-interpret the subject to be anything less than hated[/footnote] is someone being a colossal, genocidal dick yet also being intelligent enough to not be that way through brainwashing or sociopathy. In other words, someone deriving pleasure and satisfaction from the detriment of others for no other reason than they are a despicable creature; not because their species is unavoidably genocidal, or that they had abusive parents, or they have a genetic predisposition to all things hateful and cruel, or any other explanation that could be reasoned for.

In any case but that, whether a lesser extreme or reasonable circumstance, it can be self-reasoned down to pity, or a rational opposition. I can honestly say I do not hate anyone, because I can always find a reason people behave the way they do, even if it is as simple as "They are a selfish greedy bastard".

I don't like hating things. I mean, really hating, not in a 'this fictional character annoys me', which can be fun.

But I really hate it when people lie or misrepresent things because they want the facts to support their point of view, or are too lazy to find out what the truth is.

I don't really hate individul people (although some honestly disgust me), but I hate the things some people do.
