okay the reason why is that the internet had opportunity to do something good, yes maybe it wasn't something great and better things could be done but we had opportunity to do something really good by bringing some one who killed hundreds of people, made hundreds of children into drug slaves and destroyed thousands of lives to justice

but instead everyone jumped on a huge hater band wagon mostly for small, petty, illegitimate reasons or even down right lies, its true that there are some legitimate reasons to disagree with invisible children but only 1% of hater's ive seen use them and these people couldn't disagree quietly no they went about trying to destroy all of invisible children's support with the same energy and determination were if the same energy and determination were used to support kony 2012 this guy would probably have been bought to justice by now but instead they destroyed the life work of a guy who was trying to do something good and could have succeeded, and destroyed it to such a degree he got high on drugs and ran round the street naked and now people are dancing on his corpse, i hope your happy haters you win congratulations i hope your really proud of yourself and the worst part is that all this grew from an opportunity to do something good.

dont bother commenting trying to excuse your behavior or explain to me why destroying this guys life was the correct thing to do because it wasnt and under no circumstance would destroying this guys life be acceptable when all he was trying to do was bring an evil person to justice and you destroyed him for it

if you hated in invisible children you should be fucking ashamed of yourself

Yes, clearly we haters are the ones responsible for this mans decesion to do drugs and then run around naked in the streets. We forced him... nay! WE BULLIED HIM INTO HIS NEGATIVE CHOICE!

dude if your life work was destroyed by internet trolls i bet you would go downhill fast, i think i would probably go nuts over it hell it upsets me just watching it happen to some one else

people hating on invisible children probably wasnt the only reason why he went crazy but it was definitely a BIG factor and the bottom line was that there was no reason for this to happen but people wanted to see a charity devoted to bringing an evil man to justice fail.

i fail to see how anyone can defend this behavior in ANY way

Dude, I don't even think the reason for his public masturbation was revealed.

More to the point, the moment one chooses to do something stupid after willing ingesting drugs/alcohol that is on them.

again, you assume Kony 2012 does ANYTHING.

Its a facebook movement. Kony 2012 nor Invisible Children are the ICC, UN, nor the US government. Its the those people (or people like them) who change the world. Liking a status will never change the world. Kony 2012 is an awareness program, independent of any official attempts to catch him.

The world governments are not dependent on fucking facebook.

If you truly believe skepticism is hate, I bet you also believe Atheism is a hate-based religion (which it isn't).

Unless Invisible Children suddenly becomes the international courts or suddenly becomes the US government, they wont change anything. All they do is raise awareness, which is USELESS. Want to help? Send actual money to actual charities, not propaganda videos on facebook.

THE US GOVERNMENT AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY AT LARGE HAS BEEN HUNTING HIM DOWN FOR 20 YEARS, KONY 2012 HAS NO EFFECT ON WHAT THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY IS DOING.

The sooner you learn this, the sooner you realize what is actually being argued. I have told you this a second fucking time.
no what youre doing is nothing in fact what youre doing is WORSE than nothing, there is no reason to hate in invisible children or anyone else trying to do some good in the world

Yeah we're bad people because we don't want to be involved with people who were photographed with the LRA like they were just hanging out like old buds. Also having people putting things like #StopKony or #Kony2012 on their twitter won't catch him. Watching a 30 minute video will not help Kony be captured. Pretending like you care about what happens in Uganda now as opposed to a year ago won't help Uganda. I give the man props for trying to do something good, but I think he went about it in the entirely wrong way. Plus only like 38% of money donated actually goes to help Uganda the rest is basically used to promote Kony. Making him famous, not to celebrate him, but to make him known will do nothing. Everybody who needs to know about him has known about him for a long time and they've done what they can to try and catch him.

There's no doubt the guy has good intentions, but poor execution.

So some assholes make a video worrying about a warlord who has already been defeated so they can nick cash from idiot college students and screw with the heads of impressionable hipsters on facebook and if I don't support them I'm approving of the warlord?

They're not only robbing students but they're actively hurting an impoverished African nation while rubbing it in their faces that they're so irrelvant that ancient history to them can be dug up and made into massive current events for the whiteys, harming their tourism industry and by proxy, most likely ensuring a couple of adorable black people starving to death.

You're wrong, there's a perfectly rational middle ground where I can say "I don't approve of children being murdered" and "I don't approve of defrauding students and slandering the third world".

Nobody has said that Kony shouldn't be punished. Your argument is so weak that you're inventing a straw man to attack instead of your opponent's argument.

Just because they're stating the bloody obvious "Child murder bad" does not exclude them from being questioned. When Africa was under the iron fist of Europe we didn't tolerate local warlords butchering children, are we to absolve colonialism of all guilt because of that?

I'm going to guess that you're too heavily emotionally invested in this nonsense for your pride to allow it to be wrong.

You cannot make a logical connection between any stance/action/etc and "rightness", because such a thing does not exist. When you say something is "right" or "wrong", you aren't making a factual statement.

i will repeat for those who didnt read it the first time i dont care about your reasons for hating on invisible children because hating on it was unnecessary and did nothing positive at all, nothing all you did was destroy a mans life work and actively campaign against a charity that is doing something that you have to admit is good (you cant say that bringing some one to justice who turned 10 year old girls into drug whores is not a good thing) and it ended in some guy going crazy

this is my final word if you cant see that what you did was even slightly wrong im not gong to change your mind and im not going to waste my time trying to reason with you

I have told you this a second fucking time.
no what youre doing is nothing in fact what youre doing is WORSE than nothing, there is no reason to hate in invisible children or anyone else trying to do some good in the world
Read what he said, read it again. Then a few more times until you actually understand what he is saying.

It's some viral Facebook shit that has instilled the thought into millions of clueless peoples heads that liking and sharing a video is actually putting an end to his crimes, not only is it doing completely fuck all to actually stop him. It's fucking several years late[./quote]

i will repeat for those who didnt read it the first time i dont care about your reasons for hating on invisible children because hating on it was unnecessary and did nothing positive at all, nothing all you did was destroy a mans life work and actively campaign against a charity that is doing something that you have to admit is good (you cant say that bringing some one to justice who turned 10 year old girls into drug whores is not a good thing) and it ended in some guy going crazy

this is my final word if you cant see that what you did was even slightly wrong im not gong to change your mind and im not going to waste my time trying to reason with you
