My allergy kept me quite awake, so I am kinda tired, but I am going to my girlfriend's house when she comes from work. Until that time comes, which actually still makes me feel pretty great, I got to do some of my physics-stuff. Meh.

Good things:
-After a ugly fight with my girlfriend a few weeks ago we're patching things over. Scabbing is a better term. Major emotional wounds were dealt on both sides but we're both healing and realized that the fact that we both manage to hurt each other so badly means that we both took the time to fully understand each other's inner workings. So we're not only healing but growing together as well.
-Recently got a new house which is big enough to act as a venue for my business and to have a family in without any bothersome overlaps.
-All my employees are behaving and functioning together well.
-In talks with some family friends to join the Masons.

Bad Things:
-I'm doing obscenely well. Now this is good because I'm not in debt too badly, can pay all my bills, and can live comfortably, it also means that everyone seems to know that I have money. Which means everyone's asking for a loan or expecting me to foot the bill or asking if they can crash at my place for a while.
-My sisters (half sisters) are both insufferable screw-ups and expect me, the youngest of the lot, to be able to magically be able to help them get their lives on track. Pro-tip: If you're in your late thirties and expect a twenty something who happens to be doing well to get YOUR life back on track then you need to stop eating paint chips.

Unknowns:
-Tomorrow it will be two years to the day that my mother passed away. I still have dreams about her, think that I see her in crowds, and mistake her voice sometimes.
-My former bro, my main amigo who I had a spat and falling out with, and I are starting to get back on track again after nine months of not talking. This could be good or it could just lead to us blowing up at each other again. I honestly can't tell.

In a way happy since I had an amazing day a the London MCM Expo yesterday (basically London Comic-Con really) and got some cool stuff and generally had fun.

On the other hand, i'm missing my girlfriend and feel like I haven't hung out with her all week, plus she seems to be less talkative and stuff or perhaps i'm just paranoid, i'm like that so I get worried a lot about things...

So, on a off. Oh yeah and I gotta revise too for a maths and history test next week so that sucks.

And for those of you that haven't lost a parent you should hug them and tell them you love them every day. Even if your dad wanted you to be a football star and not a programmer he still loves you. Even if your mom didn't want you to learn how to ride a bike let alone learn to drive she still is glad you have a life. Because you know that scene in Inception? The one where Ellen Page finds out Cobb's maintaining a literal prison of memories and it's causing him to loose it in both the subconscious and real world? That is a shockingly accurate portrayal of the aftershocks of this kind of loss. And it doesn't matter how in love you are with your partner, it doesn't matter how successful you become, that's going to stay there for a long...LONG time. And a therapist will tell you the same. Even though you may have reconciled and been happy that's still at least fifteen years of happiness which is now over and unlike your favorite video game franchise and film series you can't replay it. So please, all of you, enjoy it as much as you possibly can.

Eh, I'm doing alright, I suppose, seeing how I'm healthy. Had a decent night's sleep, and I finished a kick-ass novel this morning that has me on the edge of considering building a personal shrine to the author.
Unfortunately, I'm constantly worried about the growing EHEC outbreak in this region. Also, I've got a paper due this week for my linguistics course, and as usual, reading up on the topic sucks... so, instead, I'm browsing the forums. :\
