It's just a country, like the other 190ish countries in the world. I've never been much of a patriot and don't believe in things like "Better red then dead!" So, I guess I'm not the person to ask.
Im sure you mean "Better dead than red".
Oops, I'm pretty sure I meant that too. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why you should always reread your posts.

Tip #2:
Always know your dealer.

I'm an American and I plan on leaving the US as soon as I finish college. I personally don't agree with the priorities of the US and feel that I would fit in better some place else.

The one thing that we can do is make a cheese burger better than the Brits. Good god, what do you put in those things? And cheese burgers aren't supposed to be served "open-faced"!

There's no such thing as the USA. It's a myth perpetrated by the leaders of the Muslim world, who are in need of a Great Satan to keep the people distracted while they live like kings. They have callcentres and datacentres dedicated to generating all correspondence reportedly from America. All those US soldiers wandering around Iraq? Mercenaries paid to be there, pissing people off.

Between Canada and Mexico, there's a great rift that leads to the centre of the Earth. Canadians and Mexicans, the superstitious lot they are, keep well away from the precipice and don't mention it to anyone, for fear of demons stealing their souls.

We are not awesome for these reasons:

1. Anyone who gloats about their patriotism isn't a patriot. You don't earn patriotism by yelling about it. You do something with it.
2. Anyone who says we're a Christian nation (a lot of them) needs to get their mouth checked because they're confusing it with their asshole.
3. Our mainstream music is shit.
4. Our government is corrupt. Now, while all governments are, ours is simply ridiculous.
5. We don't honor our own constitution. And by that I mean separation of church and state. Look at Prop 8 and who backs it for evidence.
6. We are so fucking fat.
7. We have a abhorrent health care system.
8. The economy.

I believe that's a good start.

Oh my God! Where am I?

Yes. America is an average place. For some reason, we take it upon ourselves to play Big Brother to everyone else. That's probably everyone's biggest problem with us.
I wonder what would happen to the world if America suddenly decided to stay in its own affairs...

We're pretty much in the same boat. Although I still am not sure where I'd fit in at. Definitely not England, either, which I consider to be very closely related to the U.S. Cast aside the superficial cultural differences, and I'm not even sure I could tell them apart.

Seriously where did people get the idea that Colorado-born Trey Parker and Matt Stone that comes from Texas are in fact Canadian?

I'm american, I love america, mainly just because it's my home. I've also been to europe and south america, i love the countries of these places too. I don't think we should be the world's babysitter, most americans actually disagree with the way our government acts and forces itself on others. i mean we do have some nutters but who doesn't? most of us are not religion forcing gun toting overweight narcissists. somehow those assholes just end up on tv. you can love your country but i think it was oscar wilde who said, "patriotism is the virtue of the wicked."

America is great because their adverts are HILLAROUS, i saw an advert there once for a 4 by 4 that was 'now able to hold up to 4 tonnes' and looking around you see that a large chunk of americas have these and i bet the heaviest and biggest thing they've ever carried with it is a broom. If anyone on the escapist can think of something a normal person would need to move a 4 tonne object then i'll give them a cookie.
Another funny thing about 4 by 4's is that the people that would need to carry 4 tonnes of anything, such as scrap metal so they can sell it for some extra money, can't afford them. If someone was really going to use it for work and not showing it off to all their friends, then they wouldn't need all the luxury features like leather seats, crystal clear speakers, or satalite radio.

I love lots of things about America, but also dislike lots of things. I do believe it's educational system is better, and the country overall gives people more opportunities. But then I don't agree with other stuff.

I suppose, but there are some very distinct and important differences between the two. Take health care for example, or public transportation.

I just couldn't raise a child in a country that believes not everyone deserves health care. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

Or themselves, if they're a large family of some of the most corpulent people possible.

Because they used to be british, and they need to keep reassuing themselves that indipendence was a good move ^^ (J/k ofc)

I think its something to do with the psyche of americans, they do tend to be confident and loud (try living with my housemate), so mabyey their just saying what every other country is thinking (I.E. "My country is the best")

I had to explain to my mom that this song is intended to be satirical. I had no idea that other people had that problem.
