So what she's a rock pokemon?
Yep. A big fleshy Onix.
Onix? My mortal enemy. I remember back in the days of yore when my pikachu and it where locked in mortal combat. Except they didn't have tanks in yellow >:3 or awesome mutant powers.....

Pity. I would have played it much more had that been the case.

Well, two reasons:

1) People tend to pick a few favorite attacks and stick with them, without exploring the whole roster. The graveyard groundspike devastator, which can fell all of Elizabeth's tentacles at once in one shot on hard, was not on many people's "frequently use" list. The complaints, you'll recall, weren't of dying, but rather of the fight taking too long.
that too,took forever.
Then you're either doing it wrong or you and I have very different definitions of "forever". Ten minutes to beat her on Hard isn't so bad in my opinion.

ADDED BONUS: Just realized that this is my 1337th post. Now I can never post again. Damn.

I only died on the first attempt at her, because I didn't realise she was going to NUKE ME. After that though, the fight just took a long time, try whittling her down with the whipfist and you'll discover what LONG is (Eventually I gave up and just used the groundspike devestator out of frustration, and discovered it worked actually rather well)
My favourite boss in that game was probably specialist cross though, he just seemed challenging without being frustrating.

I used one of two strategies. Hijack some helicopters and tanks and just shoot. It's quicker, but more risky as you stay close.

Or just run away, charge up to critical mass, use devastator, run away, charge up, devastator, rinse, repeat.

I didn't think she was hard at all, it just took some time to kill her with the whip.

You shall now only edit posts to answer threads!

Anyway I just used lots of helicopters and tanks and got her eventually, took like 3 tries and ages to kill her..

Well she sure wasn't easy, but she wasn't hard. Really none of the Prototype bosses were as hard as people made them out to be. People probably did it one way and died and then tried it again the exact same way. Which is what I did until I realized all I had to do was shoot at her with the tank until the tank blows up and then find another tank. Actually that's what I did with all the bosses...
