i like Fallout 3 alot but almost everyone i talk to says that the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games all suck, but all these people like RPGs and to me Bethesda seem to create the most immersive RPGs in the business (except Oblivion but thats a whole other discussion so lets please not argue that point just now)

I have no idea what you're talking about, everyone can't stop raving about that games awesome-ness.
I wasn't aware that it was creating so much flak. Yes, bethesda does make games that allow you to become immersed, that's why they are awesome. That is why Fallout 3 is great. Okay?
I've heard no such talk. Everything I've heard has been immensely positive, the only reason I don't like it is because I hate, hate, any game that has me wandering around to find things that advance the story. In reality that's a minor complaint but if I ever really feel the urge to play I'll just steal it from my brother.
Yeah...Bethesda games have the problem of stagnating because of one reason or another. We already discussed why people thought Fallout 3 felt like crap after a while. It was a fairly recent thread.

I never got excited about Fallout 3. The world just doesn't grab me. It just doesn't feel vibrant and attention-grabbing. Maybe the game is fantastic and filled with interesting quests, characters, and locations, but I never felt interested enough to try it out.
yeah i dont see many people hating on fallout. There really isnt much reason to, youd have to be a pretty picky gamer to really hate fallout 3.
the Elder Scrolls Series is awesome, Fallout 3 on the other hand isnt even worth buying, if you've played Oblivion, you've already played the superior version of Fallout 3.

I wouldn't hate Fallout 3 but it got a bit annoying after a while. The landscape got frustratingly bland. I did like the radio though. Being able to continue the game after the main campaign would have been nice.
