If someone says the vita has no games, he obviously haven't did a lot of research
It has no system selling games. Most of her games are ports or niche games.
Though it would be an insta buy for me if after Gravity Crush 2 we would get new Siren.

what do u mean the vita is the weakest console out there dude the vita is one of the most graphicaly impressive handhelds we have had ever i mean the graphical power of vita is almost ps3 worthy if anything the wii u and 3ds are the weakest consoles
The 3DS has the ability to do 3D with glasses so that takes some type of power.

Well the main answer is there isn't money in advertising the vita games. The Vita is such a small user sales base physically that the amount of money it'd cost to advertise on tv, on major gaming news sites, and on stuff like youtube and what not, won't make up for it in profits unless it's an "OMG HUGE" vita title. Also with major gaming sites, if it's something that isn't going to get them their clicks for ad revenue, they aren't going to spend the time and the writers to write articles about vita stuff when other things will grab more views.

Vita won't be the only thing that pretty much gets spread by word of mouth, and its not really a bad thing as long as people keep talking about it.

I get that there isn't much point in wasting revenue on advertising, but it's hard to spread word of mouth press when there is nothing to go on. The only word of mouth for Borderlands 2 is:-

'Oh hey, did you hear their making a port of Borderland 2 on the Vita?'

'Yeah, any idea what it will be like?'

'No'

Would it really cost that much to put some images up on the companies own website or stream a youtube video? It's an age where getting your product out there is easier than ever and no-one seems to be using it for Vita titles.

On an unrelated side note I just downloaded 'Thomas was Alone' onto my Vita and my god was it beautiful.

No, but hype is an important part of the game industry and you'd think they'd want people to buy their games if they're going to the trouble of making them.
True, their marketing is kind of stupid for keeping the details of all the popular stuff hidden. Dealing with stupidity is irksome. I guess I don't care because I prefer niche titles, and there's plenty of news on those.

Agree i just downloaded Thomas was alone on vita, fantastic game, lone survivor is pretty good too. Also broken sword 5 just came out on vita (no ps3 version)if you like point and click games (only on the Europe store so far) I would really love it if 'telltale' released their episodes at the same time on vita as a cross buy option instead of having to wait till all episodes are released on ps3. I do think though the future of the vita might be focused on indie. games, which to me is pretty good.
