In the midst of a single breath, where perversity cannot be held, is the Way.

life is boring because the people that control our lives feel that life for the lower 99% should be boring so they can have all the fun

*sniffs the air* i smell a fight club coming on...."only when you lose all hope are you truley free" seriously if you havn't seen that movie watch it it really is a great movie!
OP:so basicly you're saying become a yes man?....another good movie that's also on point with what you're saying. in any case i think it depends on what you're job is and how you live you're life. I mean I know if i was a movie director and was married to the love of my life right now it would'nt be boring at all.

Maybe you should try taking your own advice. You sound like you have too much time on your hands.

Rules make things boring, as much as we hate them we need them to prevent anarchy. And living a "fun" life all the time would likely end in early death.
and why is anarchy bad? okay not really i get that as fun as it would be to scale the side of the empire state building or run around streets doing whatever you wanted it would start to suck in most points.
but I don't see a problem in dying young due to a fun life. life is the only shot we got on this earth (depending on your religion) so why not enjoy the time you have here?

Make life not boring if you find it boring.

It's not boring, people are boring. I enjoy being bored. Chew on that.

Life is boring the same way 85% of gamers stopped playing Assassin' Creed and never finished it. Rrrrrrrrrrepetition! Doing the same god forsaken thing day in and day out can make life boring. Also, looking at life through Realist Glasses can really bum buck your day, because you realize that everything you do is practically meaningless and it'll all end with you siting in a home somewhere watching tv, forgetting everything because you're so damn old, and by the time you get to do the things you want to do, you're old!

Mix it up, take vacations and play more video games.

Well I can see that you missed the fucking point.
You're ALIVE. Do you not realize how incredible it is to be alive?
I mean, incredible itself is an absurd concept but so is boring. Sure, a lot of people just work and then die, but if you don't appreciate your life then you need a serious screw to the brain. I repeat, you are alive, you can experience, you can appreciate, you do]. Do you know how many not-things don't do? You aren't not existence. You don't not exist.

Live your life miserable and ***** about it or appreciate that you have experienced existing. Choose one and bugger off.
1 ^^ you're asking if we now how many things that don't exist don't exist. Well I'm almost ashamed to say that I do not so could you enlighten me.

2 not existing is not the opposite of death, cause a table exists too.

and third: at least non-existing people dont have to pay taxes!

oh and forth: saying that someone 'don't not exists' just sounds silly

(sorry i just had to do this)

Even if it'd be boring doing that in a game, things I do in real-life don't actually seem that boring when I look back.

Socializing is the key. A good time spent with friends isn't boring.

I never said not existing is the opposite of death, if you'll look. You're point about at table is true but that discounts that I said 'you can experience'.
I will use double negatives as I please. I felt that it was appropriate at the time.
Saying something 'sounds silly' sort of goes against my post anyway since I mention how things are absurd as a rule, thus 'sounding silly' is an arbitrary designation.
How many things that don't exist? Well the answer is obvious: none and infinite simultaneously.
I'm not trying to sound cool or deep or anything saying this, its what I believe.
I also realize that some of your post is tongue-in-cheek, I am acknowledging that but I chose to answer seriously anyway.

I like boredom, it's the absence of excitement where something is happening that may or may not endanger your life. Boredom is quite safe indeed (I take the rincewind approach to boredom :))

dude, I NEVER intend to lead a boring life, EVER. I am a circus skills obsessive who is hoping to (once going through normal uni and getting a degree in Japanese/Anthropology) join Circus Space, Britains leading Circus Arts school. Oh yes, your looking at a man who said "mum, dad, I want to join the circus" and is currently attempting to fulfil his dream, one small wish at a time. Like a Sim in Sims 3! (oh god I've been playing that game way too much...)

i was thinking about life in general and ive came to the conclusion that everyones life is boring, "try to make ends meet, you're a slave to money then you die" (12 man points if you get tell me where the quote is from) but yeah its true. we are born, we try to get a good salary then we die. we work 9-5 and go home eat, sleep then work again (if its not work then you place of education etc).

i say we all start being more exciting, take something you are afraid of and do it, go sky diving, talk to the girl/boy that you like, buy the fast car that youve always wanted but thought was too impractical, swim naked etc

i recon if we all did something exciting, something dangerous, took a risk, face a fear or just to something outrageous fun or extravagent every now and then. we would get more enjoyment out of life.
Life is what you make of it. Life isn't boring, you are.
