WHY IS MVC3 BEING SO STUPID?!

I do know he's in the cameo of a stage taking pictures of the fight, but that's it sadly

And what exactly is wrong with having Amaterasu in the game?

Didn't say anything was wrong with it, just find it funny that they take out all the most popular characters (that Aren't Ryu or Wolverine) and added some "eeh" characters

not to make a "fanboy" comment because obviously you're not (so far) but I do find it funny how all my nintendo-obsessed and art obsessed friends started treating MvC like GOD just because the Okami dog was added to it... these are the same people that said fighters were stupid and kept bashing it... then I told them the Okami dog was in it and DEAR GOD THEY LOVE THIS GAME NOW!

(so that's how smash bros sold so well *cough*)

they cut some characters due to similarities, haggar and zangief would be pretty similar, and it seems this time there building a far more balanced game, which unfortunately limits the roster, but builds a better game

Clearly you under estimated the new characters just because you don't know them well enough. They had their reason for having the rooster smaller this time round.

Yes, they're trying to add a STORY to this game, instead of making it a fun for all fighter because apperantly stories are in

MvC2 Balance

Take out Iceman, Setinal (who is playable in MvC3), Cable (sadly), and Nerf Iron Mans flight combo

MvC3... please shut the 3rd party fanboys (GIRLS IN THIS CASE!) up... *sighs* it's one thing to like a character in a game, it's another thing to suddenly worship a game you used to hate because of the character you like saying the character you like will be "TEH B3ST EVAR" and buy the console and the game just to play as your character only to find out they're just as balanced as the rest then yell at the creators for not making your character the god you made them out to be

About the only character i'll miss are Venom, Cyclops and Gambit. But They have to appeal to a more current fanbase, Deadpool is hot property at the moment and who will really miss Thanos?

Also, your list of missing characters is far from complete, whatabout Rouge? Cable? Spiral? to name but 3. But I suppose that the list in the first post was just the characters YOU'LL miss. Changes have to be made, and if you want to play MVC2 it is only about £10 to download.

I know you made the edit saying you know who Deadpool is. But many DO know Deadpool. He's currently one of the most popular characters Marvel has going. He's taken the world by storm in the last year or so. And they would choose him over Punisher because Deadpool is amusing. One of his special/finishers, he takes his own health bar and beats his opponent with it.

As for those missing, I will miss Jin and Strider, and I think they should axe Sentinel and Shuma Gorath. As far as Ken, they say he's not in there because he's a Ryu clone (and face it, he is, he just has stronger kicking/punching attacks rather than his long ranged.) Though I don't see how they justify Akuma there now. Others such as Blackheart and Juggernaut, they didn't want too many BIG characters. If you notice there are very few really large characters now. Many of the ones you listed were all slow and large characters that took up too much of the screen. As far as Cyclops goes, I like him more than I used to (being an avid comic reader) but he's still a tool and most people don't really like him. If they were going to add MegaMan at all they should do MegaMan X, he may be DLC, but I doubt it. They seem pretty against falling on MegaMan as a staple character and throwing in Zero instead. Of this I approve, Zero is just cooler.

I wanna see Phoenix Wright. Though I never played the games, it would be an interesting character.

Far as that comment is concerned, I don't much care if the dog is there or not. I never played the game, and probably won't. I have no objections to him though, however, because its very different.

Hey, Deadpool's awesome! But yeah, why Capcom wouldn't include Megaman is a huge mystery, he's basically their answer Mario or Sonic.

Other then the game needing more Tron Bonne (I don't know care how much she's in it already, I just know it fucking needs more Tron Bonne) I have no complaints.


Though I sincerely hope Frank West doesn't make an appearance, one of his coolest moves in Dead Rising is stuffing zombies into Servbot heads. Which I think would be disturbing in a game that features actual Servbots.

I'm actually pretty damned happy with the roster. Deadpool is great, and having access to Dante and Wesker alone made this game worth my hard-earned. Also,

if you want to play mvc2, play mvc2. i think the new roster is great and feels right in line with the times. im actually disappointed that they had to bring back so many of the characters everyone was sick of seeing from mvc2 (magneto, storm, sentinel). the only thing that could improve the roster at this point would be the inclusion of megaman x and kickass
