So? You were lamenting the lack of "non-casual" games, not the lack of good games, right? I've heard bad things about the Wii Tomb Raider games and Red Steel as well.Pendragon9 said:Wow. I can't believe you actually used Dead Rising as an argument in this case. That game sucks on the Wii.NeutralDrow said:SSBB, No More Heroes, Madworld, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Castlevania Judgment, Call of Duty: World at War, Twilight Princess, Dead Rising, Trauma Center, Tomb Raider, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Scarface: The World is Yours, Red Steel, Guitar Hero/Rock Band, Okami, Ghostbusters, Heavenly Guardian, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Naruto Clash of Ninja...
Or were you defining "gamer" games as "games I like?"
Ah, so you were defining "gamer" games as "games I like." I was just talking to the air, then. Most of those are also multiplat, remakes of older games, and/or cash-ins on overhyped franchises. There really are no special games that Nintendo has made. Madworld and the Conduit look like nothing more than attempts to make Nintendo extreme (especially after Nintendo fans complained that First person shooters and violent gory games weren't real games. Now they suddenly like the genres. Hypocrits)SSBB has lost alot of it's steam, and No more Heroes is basically a watered down Star Wars hack and Slash. And wasn't Twilight Princess available on the Gamecube? They ruined Paper Mario by making it too easy, and Super Mario Galaxy was honestly not as inspired as the original Super Mario's. But I guess it was better than nothing.
Also, I hate sequels. They should stop the sequels and start making original games again. How about some original virtual console games? Like some side scrollers? They should've learned from Mega Man 9.
