They all speak English, right?
Actually they Speak English, Welsh and
Gaelic, there's plenty of Welsh people that can't speak English.
Actually, them up North speak Irish (Gaeilge), and them in Scotland speak Scottish (Gàidhlig, and I'd like to know how that differs from the Irish pronounciation). Also, yes, there are people that speak nothing but Irish, mostly in the Gaeltacht region in western Ireland (Galway and Kerry).
Also, consider yourself lucky you're listed. Ireland is rarely listed, and when it is it's under UK and Ireland, and the offices are in England. Or it's listed as Eire (it should be Éire; minor gripe, but still. Amusingly, while Éire means Ireland, the
description of Ireland, according to Wiki, is Poblacht na hÉireann, or Republic of Ireland. I was a bit confused, since Éireann is used in the Irish language much more than Éire. In fact, I've never heard Éire said in Irish).
To keep on-topic, I'd say that you have a fair point: Scotland and Wales are mostly self-governing, as is Northern Ireland now (last I'd checked, that was the purpose of Stormont). The Laws of the United Kingdom can be considered more like the laws of the EU.
