"I'm Scruffy, the janitor"
Scruffy is probably one of the greatest Futurama characters ever.

OT: I don't really remember how, my name is "AJ" and obviously that wouldn't have worked, so i jyst put "AkJay" and it isn't pronounced "A-K Jay" it's supposed to be "Ock-Jay" if that makes any sense.

It's mah nickname amongst my mates :D

Surname= Waddington, hence nickname = Wadders

And thats all there is to it.

And it's pronounced Wadders (as in a wad of money) not Waders (as in the big waterproof leggings people use when fishing)- I've heard plenty a Yank mis-pronounce it, much to my annoyance :p

Mine used to be deathbal101, I made it in my dark Runescape days. I was 10. What would one expect?

I recently started using 'Mortesphere' because it means the same thing. Though I don't know if the gender tense is correct. I fear that the added -es implies that I am female.

Xynrei is an old roleplay name I whipped up for a forum RP. I adored it and have used it as my nickname, alias, and alter-ego ever since.
'Sides, it prevents "This username is taken" conflicts.

Yes, yes it does make me feel better :D

And the only real reason I hear Americans mis-pronounce it is because its Americans who I play games with online. I'm sure if I played with more Brits, they would say it wrong too :p

Mine came from a collective day dream from me and 2 other mates while in college bored out of our minds, where we imagined myself as a cheesy bad superhero with a cardboard cut-out face mask dressed in bright green spandex with a purple cape and gets to places by lying down on skateboard going ludicrously fast and plowing into the back of buses and ice cream vans. Thus Action Dan was born. We even made a cardboard mask for myself.

I was imaginative as a kid, coming up with stories which I eventually turned into fanfictions starring my created characters and whatever show I liked at the time. Salem Wolf was one of my first characters, a design in his character finalized over a 5 year period starting back in 2000 and finished in 2005-2006 which cemented him into a main character of his own (unfinished) novel series. Needing a user name for an e-mail I used "CyberNeticDragon", then realized...that was retarded. I took the name of Salem Wolf; combining both the Salem Witch Trials which fascinated me as a kid, and Wolves, a favorite animal of mine (surprising to some, Salem Wolf is a human, he's not a furry, he's not an anthro...some can't wrap their minds around the fact "Wolf" is actually a real last name even in that spelling). Needless to say, I've been using the same user name since 2004 (starting with my hotmail account) and haven't regretted it once.

TL;DR - I stole the user name from a character I dreamed up and use in fanfiction and role-plays and whatnot. Yes, I am that kind of nerd and utilize that name whenever I can.

PS - The underscore came from my hotmail account, I just felt like I hadn't used an underscore in a while, thus Salem_Wolf came to the Escapist. Hope that didn't sound cocky, that wasn't what I was going for. <<

AK=Alaska. Where I was born and where I live.
Marksman= I can rack off ACOG'd M60 shots in COD4 PC and 360 with regular ease,my preferred R6 weapon is a ACOG'd XM8. In my group of friends on LIVE,I'm usually supporting the squad with either a scoped heavy weapon or a scoped rifle. Some of my friends are starting to copy my tactics that I do in games..but if a team mate goes down (say like GRAW 2) myself and others will fight our way to them, heal them and find cover.
Since I've started gaming,my ideal weapon is a M16 series assault rifle..I used to PWN people all the time back in the days of Delta Force:Blackhawk Down on the PC.

On LIVE,I'm referred to as either AK or marksman..and a few adversarial matches on R6V2..I did in fact use a rifle scope equipped AK-47 to great effect..but AKs are not known for their accuracy in real life..so my username is either a contradiction or..whatever

I once told a friend of mine one of his Ideas was as useful as a no slotted toaster and his reply was that's stupid, how would you get your toast out and my reply was how would you get bread in in the first place, now being older I can see that a toaster oven is technically a no slotted toaster so I guess I'm just a toaster over but in my mind our original image of a silver toaster with no slots has stuck with me and thus here I am.

the metatron is also the voice of God or so says Kevin Smith's Dogma (played by Alan Rickman aka Prof. Snape and Hans Gruber)
