So, the current temperature where I'm at is -27c. Fortunately, there's no wind chill, but still, it's buggering cold, particularly if you're about to spend the day on the roof of some building, trying to make it water-tight. And it's especially poopy out when I remember the 8" of snow we got over the weekend... the 8" I'll be helping shovel.

Bleh.

So, in what particular manner is Mother Nature tormenting the rest of you right now?

Well it just ticked over to summer here in Aus, but where I live it's still a hopeless 23 or so degrees celcius. Bah! Bring on the 28-30 degree days so we can go to the beach!

Well I remember the first curse in the summer of '08 which caused us all to be spending our entire time sitting in a house going 'errrrrrrrgh' and in the end I was begging it to be winter. Winter finally comes, but along with it come at least twelve random hot days and then here comes summer '09 which has already reached the crippling stage. I like winter and these days it just never seems to want to show up.

P.S I'm in Australia so it's summer right now, not winter.

Back in November there was a heat wave for a while which was pretty cool because I got to put the pool to good use. Now it's back to crappy old cloudy and stuff. The weather was pretty nice today though.

The God of Rain hasn't answered Southern Califoria's voice mails. That and the Cloud God is a little late for work blocking out the sun.

The winter down in the south of Finland has been terrible so far; no snow, +2 and wet.

Rain...and lots of it.
I want it to snow, just for a change.

Yay for -8 C! Bloody mother fucking cold. I've got two blankets, a heater and wool socks on. And my cat is sleeping under the first of the two blankets.

I'm in Wales by the coast and that means wind and rain, and lots of it. All day, every day.

I'm looking forward to going home for Christmas, if only just to experience a slight drop in temperature which may bring snow. But it will probably just rain at home too :(

Britain's weather is always annoying.

Its never excrutiatingly bad, and we never have any extreme weathers... its just continuously mild and rainy ALL YEAR.

Gets annoying =\

I. Fucking. Hate. Summer.

Australian summers are ridiculous, especially in Queensland when it's 30 degrees (in the shade) on a cold day. To top it off, my air-conditioning is broken, so I've resorted to soaking myself with a spray bottle.

Thank christ I get to go to California for a week in January. Bring on the motherfucking cold!

Sadly, it's not... the temperature, adjusted to include the wind chill, is -33c. I live in Western Canada, and while it's certainly not the coldest place on Earth, most of the Prairies get mighty cold. I've actually worked outside in -80c... -39c physically, with a -41c wind chill. Imagine penguin people, wearing goggles, and waddling. That's more or less what the crew I was on looked like.

That's besides last winter, where I was working 7 hours north of home, living in a camp; we worked 10 days out, and with nothing else to do, if it wasn't snowing, we worked. Some days were -40c at sunrise.

Here in East England we've just had weeks of near non-stop drizzle. Not even proper rain, just unrelenting drizzle.
