So, the universe. Why do we hate it so much? I mean, without it, we couldn't live. It's a vital thing to our existence. And yet here we are constantly trashing it and everything inside of it. It's more than a little discrediting, really. So why do you hate the universe?

Also, if the Universe is by definition everything, and it's expanding, wouldn't nothing change at all unless the Universe has an edge? And how can EVERYTHING IN EXISTENCE possibly have an edge?

Unless the universe is infinitely vast and everything is just moving around a single focal point we mistakenly believe to be the center of everything.

Well theres your problem. You define the universe as everything. The "universe" in only the matter in space. SCHTUFF is not infinite. But its expanding into an infinite void.

The universe is infinite. It never ends. That means it's impossible for there not to be alien life. Also it all fits in so well. The periodic table for example, look how well its arranged, and it works too. Also lawrencium is more awesome than uranium.

I don't hate the universe, I hate it's inhabitants. At least the one's I know of. Not all of them, but most.
