I hate it for the same reason you hate that jock "Lance" from high-school. It's better than me, it's trying to control me, and it makes me feel insignificant.

because the universe is a dick its all like "i'm the universe if i wasnt here youd have no temporal plane of existence and would diffuse in the the vast nothingness of nothing."

I hate it because it dresses terribly, and is generally a whiny little sh- Oh wait, this is the universe, not Tidus.

Its just a waste of resources. Imagine the biggest crumb mess possible. Now imagine being OCD and wanting to count them. And then losing your spot halfway through. It would be far smarter to organize it all in a nice small area, here you can take advantage of these resources, and know what you actually have. Far better than launching rockets in random directions hoping to find them.

Of course, then people will just complain about the newfound gravity problems...
