Why take away juggernaut?

I play modern warfare 2 sometimes, but get turned away from it by the fact that there's no juggernaut. Some people claim that painkiller is a substitute, even though you have to die 3 or 4 times from stopping power just to get more health for 10 seconds. Does anyone else want juggernaut back?

You do know they took juggernaut away so you wouldn't have another MP40+juggernaut sort of thing, especially because they didn't take time to actually balance their weapons *cough*dual 1887s*cough*

I see your point there. That still doesn't change the fact that there is nothing to counter-act stopping power now.

Not really. It was overused by people in CoD4, especially with snipers, who suddenly became impossible to kill even if you headshot them with the Barrett .50 calibre, which pissed me of to no end.

Painkiller is a good substitute, as it means that poorer players suddenly have a marked advantage over their enemies, but it disappears over time so one can't just die a few times, then go on a match-long killing spree.

Juggernaut pissed me and many others off.
It was taken away because of all the complaints about it.

I think that stopping power needs out too, I mean, how can you balance weapons when any of them can do 20-40% more damage (I cant't remember how much).

It is the most useless perk ever, most weapons kill you within one to two shots anyways. Besides isn't anyone who uses it referred to as a "noob."

True, the guns in MW2 have been majorly beefed up. It took them long enough to finally deploy the nerf bat to the models. Well, imo they just created new balance issues by trying to balance various other things. Personally, I dont really want juggernaut back, that'll probably just create even more balance issues. Why not go for a different aproach to your play-style?

Btw, I wonder what it would be like, being one of those badass juggies from spec ops.. :)

There is a lot of shit perks that need to go... commando? I'd prefer Juggernaut over this any day. Hopefully Black Ops will give a much better selection of perks, minus the horribly unbalanced ones.

It's a 1.4x multiplier, so all weapons kill about 1 bullet faster (except the WA2000, which is unaffected by stopping power).

I think that's just ridiculous, I don't know why you would ever use another perk (unless it's hardcore), just think about all the kills you barely get.

I agree with commando leaving as well. I honestly don't know why Infinity ward never updates their game.

Why would you WANT it back. It completly messed up gameplay in CoD: WaW and CoD 4. there was no point to it.
I personally think they need to get rid of last stand/final stand, and martydom. completly get rid of duel wealding. change the snipers, no M16 and Famas. no commando. and no tactical insertions. but thats just me.

I agree with some of what you said, final stand should stay in, reduce the speed/accuracy of last stand, require 4 bullets for a kill from M16 and Famas (with a slightly higher rate of fire), and I'm okay with Tac inserts, they need to revamp blast shield though. I'm also okay with Marty as a death streak
