I used Juggernaut only A) when playing Nazi Zombies in WaW and B) when I was playing as my QCQ shotgunner class. Aside from those two instances I HATED it and the people who used it, especially anyone in WaW who used it with the overpowered Mp40 and claimed to be "pro"

I play modern warfare 2 sometimes, but get turned away from it by the fact that there's no juggernaut. Some people claim that painkiller is a substitute, even though you have to die 3 or 4 times from stopping power just to get more health for 10 seconds. Does anyone else want juggernaut back?
Not really. It was overused by people in CoD4, especially with snipers, who suddenly became impossible to kill even if you headshot them with the Barrett .50 calibre, which pissed me of to no end.

Painkiller is a good substitute, as it means that poorer players suddenly have a marked advantage over their enemies, but it disappears over time so one can't just die a few times, then go on a match-long killing spree.
So THATS why those jerks wouldn't die!
That's not the worst of it. One juggy-sniper I was against in the crossfire multiplayer map was so bad that his shots went thusly: The wall next to me, the floor in front of me, the wall again, and one of his own team-mates who was trying to knife me (bear in mind this was hardcore so friendly-fire is on). I had already put no less than 5 shots into his head, so I just gave up on sniping and 'naded the bastard.

Btw, I wonder what it would be like, being one of those badass juggies from spec ops.. :)
I always thought that would be an interesting kill streak to implement. After a certain amount of kills (lets just say 8, as an example), you become an armored juggernaut, with a giant health boost for about the next 45 seconds or so, but your health doesn't regenerate.
Dont take this the wrong way but god am I glad you arent one of the developers.

It will just be insane. On spec ops, it takes about 4 or 5 headshots with the .50 cal just to down, even with no regen, you could tank shotguns at close range. Maybe it would be just ok if you could not sprint so it rules out knifers (a knifer with jugg hp will just have an auto 3 kills at least.)

As with stopping power, guns are strong enough as they are, unless your aim sucks. All you need are a few hits and stopping power imo, does not really make a huge difference. Cold Blooded is a much more useful perk.
Well, think about it this way, it would be easier to kill than a pavelow, it wouldn't move as fast, and using it would actually put your own life on the line, unlike every other killstreak in this game.

Remember after all, Juggernauts are slow, and when using this perk, after getting a few kills, you would have to move under your own locomotion to the next spot to get more, all under a time limit.

When you consider those two things, it really doesn't seem quite as overpowered to me. I mean, it would be really good on small, close quarters maps, but horrible on bigger ones.
Hmm.... now that I think about it, it could work but, I wouldnt be a person that uses it because I doubt it would get as many kills as a pavelow, even with the risk of a stinger on the other side. However, I think you should get regen and the time limit should be 30 secs instead of 45. Also, you are not able to go prone.
Just to cut in with this line I don't think that getting a Juggernaut killstreak would be at all a good addition to the scheme. First and foremost, there would be problems with trying to implement it. Would it be a switch on like with radar, thereby rendering even near-dead guys suddenly armored supergods? Or would it act like the painkiller deathstreak, appearing after death, and effectively rendering most of that invincibility moot as you suddenly have to jog rather than run to a location before you're in any position to shoot

Second, other killstreaks could shred the Juggernaut with impunity, so even with the properties you guys have been suggesting it could be a big waste of what would definitely be a high killstreak slot. Imagine it: a Juggernaut versus an AC-130. My money's on the flying fortress of doom.

And third, It wasn't fun when Juggernaut was used in Cod4, so why would it suddenly get popular now?

Note: Do people really have such trouble with Pavelows? I often run a stealth spec that has a Stinger/cold-blooded/scavenger combo, and unless it's an AC-130 in the air, air support rarely lives long enough to do any damage to my team

Juggernaut pissed me and many others off.
It was taken away because of all the complaints about it.

then mw2 is going to get destroyed as a whole into rubble.

the multiplayer aspect of that game...

*shudder*

balance shall never be mentioned unless its matched with the word "No"

5 headshots from across the map, and he still wouldn't die. Does that seem fair to you?
