See, I do know people who don't take it as a fetish but take it as a bit of fun! I always thought there was a crowbar separation between Yiffing and furry. Am I wrong?
From what I've noticed, you're wrong.

Wherever there's more than one furry, there will be yiffing. Wherever there will be yiffing, burn the place down.
You are the wrong one, I remember a time when Furries were at war with eachother... over that very issue, (I was neutral in the combat, seeing as I like a decent yiffstory once in a while)
But yea... Just cause you get off on ...what ever you get off on, doesn't make you a freak does it?

"Furry Fury"? OP, Y U No alliterate?

Anyway, I dunno whether I'm just not up to speed with the internet or whatever, but I don't go looking for 'Furries' on any forums, and I've never really seen any around here. There probably are some, but good on em for keeping it to themselves.
*Why y u no literate* :p
I...don't get it, I'm sure you know what alliteration is, and the OP missed a golden opportunity for it... o_O

I like to think I'm very literate, especially by comparison. =(

sorry bud, I mistakenly read the meme as comparing furry and fury, thus correcting it I read it as y u no illiterate and didn't actually click till after I posted and thought wait, it said alliterate not illiterate.

my apologies mate.

But there's nowhere near the level of hate. Even for the Twihards you next mention.
The public makes it out to be a big deal about furries. There's nothing new about them until when someone brings it up, which riles up how people feel thus can get more involved then anyone could predict.

If we were talking about My Little Pony, COD fans, or basic things that revolve around 'Why are they hated/popular?' then people will get on it. No matter what it is, the internet will overreact according to how the thread/subject moves. Let's say I brought up Cosplay. People wouldn't make a big deal out of it right? Unless I place a particular cosplay onto there involving something recognizable to become negative then everyone involved shall be riled up to state their opinion.

So again, furries have been around for the longest time. It's just when a topic comes up about them, then people come out to be very..very forward about things which at times they don't even mean it but word it strongly just to prove a point trying to show how much one can hate. But hate is nothing... hating someone or something tends to blind everyone, sinking into them like a disease. It only takes one person to light a match anyhow if you know what I mean.
The amount of time they've been around means nothing. The response, additionally, is fairly disproportional among the various "why all the hate" threads. Of course, you also loaded it with a couple offenders that are on a similar tier, but hey, why not load the examples to better suit you? Fox News has taught us that slanting a story is not only acceptable, but freaking COOL.

Seriously, the "hate" exists with or without these threads. Hell, the "hate" existed well before the "why all the hate" threads became a major thing on the internet.

Hell, you can get assaulted for being a furry. I've never heard of anyone getting assaulted for being a COD player. Though there was that fake terrorism thing in Florida.

Still, you're sitting behind a massive false equivalence fallacy.

I believe that most dislike of the furry community comes from three things: the persecution complex, overreaction to eccentric behavior, and hopping on the bandwagon. The first is annoying coming from anyone, furry or not. The number of people that have genuine malice towards furries are a minority. I really don't mind you dressing up as your animal doppelganger when around other members of the community.

Some people, furries and antagonists, take it way too seriously though. I've actually seen people get angry about video games that have anthropomorphized animals in them and claim that they're "catering to furfags". I don't like people who flaunt being a furry or make it out to be as normal a lifestyle as homosexuality either, but it's mostly harmless.

Because it's the internet.

And I'm not gonna disagree that there are a large group of furries that are just plain creepy xD

But the world would be a boring shithole if it wasn't for some fucking diversity so why not?

This image [http://i44.tinypic.com/2cn8oxt.png] pretty much sums it all up. :/

And yes, it's safe to click. Just some text I couldn't be arsed to transcribe.
Except that the "foot fetish" is so globaly common and dominant in male sexual behavior, it's actually not a fetish.
It's like liking dem titehs. Programmed into your brain.

Feet, breasts and ass are erogenous zones directly related to the ostergenous level of the women. That's why we likey.
